I have been trying for the past three years to get over my awkwardness by regularly engaging in conversation with various people (practice makes perfect).

Anyway, long story short, I'm still as socially awkard as ever so clearly something's going wrong.

I mean, I'm a good looking guy but I admit I suffer from low self esteem, I've lived in the same town for 2 years now and have yet to engage in a conversation above small talk with ANYONE.

I know Sat night is not the best time to go and get an application or talk to the manager. I feel so sad and useless as a person cause I'm 30 and still can't my 1st job. I'm not lazy but have fear. I wanted someone to come with me but I can't find anybody. This is my dreamjob and I want it really bad but I'm scared to get an application and go for an interview. I hate interviews. I need major help.

Anything that can be built, whether physical, emotional, psychological, also has the ability to be destroyed, is this true? If you think not, give an example of an exception that is impossible to destory (remember it must be built, please nothing religious).

I was recently asked this question and I got stumped. I am not sure if they need to slow down or what. I heard its a mental problem that people need to work out. I thought it was a great question to try here!

Since i was 5 or 6 years old if i'm not mistaken,i have a sudden interest in either watching tv that shows dramas or movies that has a hero performing CPR on the heroine to revive her back to life either due to drowning, asphixiation, heart attack, etc. until now.I also loves to read medical books with CPR illustrations(female as the victim) when i go to the library.Sometimes i did mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions on my wife for fun.My wife does admit that i'm kinda weird for choosing this as a fetish but later on she does'nt mind at all.She said she love it to since she get used to it for quite a long time.I do worry if i might broke her ribs or even interupt her normal heart rythm while doing chest compressions on her but so far she's ok.Seriously i love her so much and really don't want her to get hurt just because of my weird fetish. Is this something normal for a men to have such a fetish? If it's normal/not normal, can you guys tell me what's the logic for such?

I'm in my own home & I realize there's a room that I never knew was there. I'm afraid to go in it, but when I do I find that it belongs to an old lady. I've never seen the old lady but her things are there. Clothes, jewelry, even coffee cup & newspaper.
And all I can think is this is a whole room in my house that I could have been using all these years but I didn't know it was here.
I have this dream a few times a year. The house changes, the room changes, the old lady's belongings change, but its always the same thing about the room & not knowing it was there.
Does anybody have any idea what this could mean?

I got this question for my assignment. I have two main problems here.

1) How do rewards differ from positive reinforcements? I've read through some explanations but they are too scholarly, can someone give me a simple explanation.

2) I've genuinely no idea if I disagree or agree, one minute I take a position but the next I find some new research that supports the opposite viewpoint. What is your opinion on this matter?

I hope to see answers based on theories, but even personal opinions will help. Please help, my assignment is due soon! Thanks!

At a point in my life which is exciting...yet new, so I'm tip toeing it seems. I tend to be quite the extremest....I either Do it BIG TIME...or I DONT...when I make a decision....I have tended to do so impulsively.... believing in "overnight" results....HA! I've learned. My question is simply to find out if anyone can provide ideas ... insight, that may help me to keep myself from swingint too far to the left or right.
here it is
Yes, I have been heart broken, I feel the pain of past decisions every day in that I don't have custody of my little girl, I'm to blame, but it still hurts like hell.
On the contrary, I feel more stable (and I am) and more secure, fulfilled than I ever have.... for once in my life I am not waiting for "my ship to come in" I'm doing what it takes,by myself, and for myself, and that makes me truly happy, it's vital, and it's not circumstantial.
q: I am feeling a strong independence- I almost feel cold, it's an extreme difference I feel - scarey almost

Have you ever gone back in time...while on a historical tour, or have you ever gone back in time...while dreaming?

I just recently had a dream I believe about the 40's or 50's..I couldn't tell exactly...but was trying to ,with the different clothing in the dream.....I have usually dreamt about the 40's,50's and sometimes 60's...rarely the 20' and or 30's...but, sometimes... I do! What have you done...."been there, or dreamt it"?

thanks for answering!
