I've accepted the fact that I've wasted it...

yeah my knees were way ahead of my brain on that one!

They say the forties are the old age of your youth, your fifties are the youth of your old age.

I still have a very young spirit. Maybe that is why my last husband was 25 years younger than I?

The man I see now is 18 years my junior. And I look my age. So it has to be my spirit! Btw.. Whoever made the crack about make up? I occassionally put on a touch of lipstick for colour and a dab of blush if it is a big date,

Don't generalize.

It's been said that a long life may not be good enough but a good life is long enough. I really try to make the best out of every day. I've a much better appreciation for life now than I ever had as a youth. So ya...I not only accept my years, I embrace them.

Only physically- my knees remind me every so often.

Yesterday I wore pigtails to work...

On occasion, I feel like doing a cartwheel- I wait till I'm in a place that is open enough that I'm not going to accidentally kick or break something, though....

Every Sunday, I get to spend 2 hours with 2-3 year olds. That will keep anyone young!... but my knees still complain when I get up after sitting on the floor, reading stories.

yes. ive accepted the physical changes, because theres little you can do about them. mentally, ive changed some, but havent forgotten the feelings of youth, and havent let my mind close. i will still egg a car, and i still dont like adults altho i am one. when your young, you cant comprehend aging altho you know its going to happen. i havent lived a mainstream life, so im not typical. i go back to my hometown and visit friends and think, what in the h#ll has happened to them. thats when i realize we are all just getting old.

I am 33, married with 4 kids, what do you think?

Yes, and it's ironic because I'm still pretty young, but I'm married and have a son. My wild days are over.
