I know I'm not the only one. I often will find myself staring aimlessly into the fire place when the fire is going. So do many of my friends, but nobody can answer why it's so hypnotic.
Any ideas?

The father of my child is lying to me about insignificat facts that are becoming significant. Creating situations that are uncomforterable and confusing to me and others. Causing problems with my trust. i am starting to second quess everything he says and i am having trouble distinguishing between truth and lies.

Ever since I was a young child as far back as I can remember, I always felt "damaged" in some way, as if something about me just wasn't right, or that I was messed up.

Has anyone else experienced this. Is there a reason for this, or a cause? And this is a serious question, so please don't give me any BS about past lives.

Thank you.

I regret it and admit it was immature but like a year or 2 ago, i pretended i was a guy and tryed to get naked pics of girls i guess i was going through that curiousity stage where you think you could be bi because you get turned on by girls which i wouldn't do it now! I don't have anything against people like that but it's not for me but anyways or i would just pretend i was a guy and get normal pictures or just talk to a girl and pretend to be a guy and be all nice to get information out of them like if i was with a guy to see if he is a player or to see what she said about me or to see if they would cheat and tell their boyfriend! I am 17 now. but this girl i am starting to be friends with is friends with one of the one of the girls i did this to and i feel i have to tell her

Hi. I'd like to ask if someone has a memory-loss, will he still have the same habits or personality as before? I've read in some Psychology books and they say that some habits or personality can't be changed. So I just wonder if it's true in the case of people who suffer from a memory-loss.

If one makes a mistake, or in the case of vocabulary, doesn't know the definition of a word and or uses a malopropism, is he/she more likely to remember the meaning of this word than that of a word he read in a dictionary?

I keep forgetting small details and have to repeat information to accomplish some stuff. Although I am very good at remembering numbers. Very absent minded. Any vitamins, mental exercises, I already write down to do lists.

I am thinking of majoring in psychology. For some reason, I thought that this particular job market was oversaturated. I was recently told that this was untrue.

What are both the pros and cons of majoring in Psychology?
Or more specifically, what doors will it open?

Okay I am really working on self improvement. My new focus is being true to myself. I dont know if this is something that comes easy to most people, but with me, I seem so afraid and sure that if I just be me people will want to be as far away from me as possible. I cant pinpoint it. I know I am physically attractive and I know how to "act nice". thats just not enough though. I have alot on my mind that I just dont think people can identify with. I am very concerned with philosophies, very complex, always into the "bigger picture". I spend a long time dissecting every subject in my mind. I am very curious and sometimes it confuses me.
Around other people, I just pretend to be care-free and float along like normal because I dont want to wierd people out. If an attractive girl who seemed to have some sense was telling you this, what would u think? Should she just be herself because this isnt wierd at all? Or should she not share these things because its unnattractive and irrelevant?

Say you are just bumbling along in your life and all of a sudden you meet someone and marry them and you have a home a family ,and nice vehicles .You travel the world buy what you want on a whem and have the most awesome place with everything that you could possibly want and then some.If loose your dreams because you feel that you accomplished more than you could ever before.You loose your desire because you know that you could have anything at anytime you want.This just isn't you .You have struggled all your life and now you don't have to dream because everything you want has been given to you or you could buy at anytime or do at anytime.Would you lose your dreams?Would you die without them?What would happen to you honestly if you could have your inner most desires and never want for anything.How would that affect you?Take time and seriously consider what I ask.I need to know..how it would affect another?

Lately I've been having these nightmares of killing innoscent animals. I'm a animal lover and cry everytime I see a road kill. So why would I dream of torturing animals & than killing them? I'm so angry in my dreams and am so evil & I would never do that to any animal or much less anyone! Lately I've been feeling alot of resentment towards my coworkers. The more and more I think about it I feel like I work with a bunch of lazy gossipy back stabbers & don't mind doing the same thing over everyday & don't really care about learning new things about physical therapy. Who don't care about progressing in life. Just sit there day to day & talk about other people. But I don't try to let this bother me & always feel outside of the box but don't care if I'm apart of the clique or not. It's not important to me. Is there a connection b/w my horrible dreams and my work situation? Why would I dream about animals instead of choking my coworkers in my dreams?Im startin to lash out onto my b/f, HELP!

For years now, I find myself with lots of ideas and goals, and plenty of logical reasons to get on the ball and start executing them, but I find myself easily distracted or procrastinating. I can't seem to break this pattern even when I know it is happening. When I do finally get started on something, I'm focused and make progress for a while, but then the momentum fades quickly.

I find myself being strongly motivated at the wrong times, like when I am driving or needing to get to sleep.

I'm looking for some missing piece in my mind to give me the leverage to get over the hump to give me the fire to get cranking and continue cranking until the project is done.

I believe I have the passion and fire inside me, but it just seems to flicker. I want to find a way to turn it up full blast and put myself into action.

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I could not. I would have confessed and would have been either executed or institutionalized by now. But then again, I'm not a money hungry elitist who was born and raised to pull off such a stunt.

In a love type of relatshionship. Say, someone who you had the hots for just wasn't into you, and years later---they realize you are not the same naive individual; or they made a mistake--and feelings grow-they see you as someone they are attracted to, and can spend the rest of their life's with? Is this possbile?....don't say everything is possible-because a cow can't jump over the freaking moon; or men can't get pregnant!

During WWII, many people risked their lives to hide Jewish people they either did not know or did not know very well. Could you, the person you are today, do that if you had been alive back then?

Keep in mind:
Hiding a Jewish person involved more than just hiding them--you had to provide for all their needs in a world where everything from clothing to potatoes was rationed;
Anyone around you might suspect your secret and might turn you in for the bounty on Jews in hiding;
Being turned in usually resulted in at least jail time, but frequently resulted in deportation to a concentration camp, and many people, regardless of their reason for being there, did not survive their time in the camps.

Could you risk everything-- your family, your job, your good name, even your life, to save someone you barely know?

Please consider it carefully before you answer, and please answer as honestly as possible.

Thanks.

What causes this?
I live with my boyfried and I really love him but as soon as he leaves our apartment he goes nuts. When we're home he's so nice but as soon as we leave the house he worries that I'm going to do something stupid, or his car will get stolen or a million other things. It's usually while he's driving. He says I don't understand because I'm not smart enough (he doesn't really SAY that but, ya, and it's only because he's mad). He gets really mad and frustrated and we end up fighting. What could be the cause of this? Is it a fear or something(leaving the house)?

He says he's not like this when he goes to work which is when I'm not there.
