Screw boyfriends! sometime they can make it worse! Just Be yourself get your self esteem back up , pamper yourself , take a couple of days off and forget about your problems maybe get a nice relaxing full body massage, but whatever you do dont do it by using drugs or cutting yourself or any self destructive way it does NOT work! (trust me i should know first hand)

You need a hobby. You may also need to talk to someone. You're probably just in a rut and need a change of scenery. If you don't have a huge need for money, try volunteering at a hospital. You would get great rewards from sitting and reading to a sick child or elderly person. It also makes you realize you are not so bad off. All it takes is a really good look around you to realize what you have may not be as bad as you currently think they are. If that doesn't help, talking to a counselor may help. There is alot of medicine now for depression. But I would suggest doing something. Don't let this get worse..and it may.. so keep on top of how you are feeling and do something good for yourself. Good luck!!!

Have you been diagnosed with Depression? Some people get S.A.D. (Seasonal Affected Disorder) during the Winter.

I have it and I'm on medication right now...which helps.

Sometimes life is like walking through mud, but if you can get out for a little bit each day, it certainly helps your loneliness.

Bookstores and Movies are the best, because you are around people and interaction is your option. Who knows? Maybe someone at the bookstore or theater is feeling the same way you are...

Good luck...you are not alone.

Vitamins, kiddo. And lots of exercise. Make yourself get out in the fresh air and play! Take a bicycle ride or go play volleyball or tennis or go for a hike. Maybe meet some new people.
If there is something that started all of this then pinpoint that and work through it in your own mind. Meditate and find some silence within and the answers will come to you.

You certainly sound depressed. A couple of people who answered mentioned it and I agree. It could be the temporary kind (as someone mentioned - S.A.D. or Seasonal Affected Disorder).

It doesn't hurt to try some Anti-Depressants...maybe just through the Winter?

I hope you start feeling better! Here's a SMILE for you! : )

It sounds to be like you could be slipping into a depression. Have you ever had these feelings before? I don't think a boyfriend will help anything when you don't feel like being around people. In my expierence having a boyfriend is more like a chore of having to get ready, leave the house, ect. Maybe its time to visit your doctor to have a checkup and explain whats going on. You never know, it could help.

You need an anti-depressant...That's what I needed and I'm much better. Your friends don't know what they are talking about. I know they are trying to help, but a man should never make you change as drastically as they think you would.

Sunds like what you need is a distraction from your problems. Try getting into some hobby you've always wanted to try.
