From my experience, it only gets worse. I hope that isn't your case too, but girl!!! Mine has done me and my children much the same way, and it has went from little piddly stuff, to very damaging stuff real quick. For me it is hardest to believe that someone I created life with can be such a selfish being that he will lie and hurt his kids in the process. I am now to a point where I just try to accept that everything he says is a lie, then my kids and I don't get set up. Thats really hard to do, I want to believe him and in him, but the cycle continues. People treat you how you let them treat you, if we accept that into our life, then we get it, me I find it easier to keep it as far away as possible. I would rather have an absent example for my kids than a lying example, they won't be what they can't see. Sorry to hear your situation, and hope things are better for you and your kid.

I have the same problem with my younger sister. She is 22 married with a kid and if she was to look me straight in the face and tell me the sky was blue I wouldn't believe her. I have learned to verify everything she says. It's quite exhausting and because of that I tend not to talk to her as much as I would like. Unfortunately you can't make your ex from lying. All you can do is talk to him about it, call him on known lies and if all else fails keep the conversation on topics that you have to talk about because of your child and find a way to verify even them. Remeber to talk about it first though.

If you have noticed these actions then your blinders of the lust/love? has worn off and you are seeing this person as he really is. YOU can't change him HE must want to change and get help.He is running from responsibility of a relationship with anyone. He needs to change and grow up. Stay away from him until he changes for a good length of time. He may SAY he has changed a week later but what does his ACTIONS say? One action is worth ten thousand words from that type of person. Best wishes!

you can't and honey jerry springer is also not going to help so don't take matters to that idiotic show. those are his decisions and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it! He is a grown person as I am sure you are too, but my advice would be to grab the baby and run! he could be capable of lord knows what if he is lieing to you about those things. Just be careful!

the next time you catch him in a lie...question him down on it..don't let up ..basically corner him on it....than tell him to stop lying that it is repulsive and disgusting to you...and each time after this..when he lies ..do the same thing.....he will either quit or keep his mouth shut around you......that is the beauty of the truth...you can't get "caught" in it.....you can get caught in a lie....
If this doesn't work...I would get rid of him....Its one of my hang ups...I can't stand liars.......no honor........

Having trouble then put him to a test and you will be able to see for yourself if he is trustworthy or not.
