I keep forgetting small details and have to repeat information to accomplish some stuff. Although I am very good at remembering numbers. Very absent minded. Any vitamins, mental exercises, I already write down to do lists.

Heh, I'm absent minded, but don't have adult add and it doesn't usually interupt my school work, but when attention is a problem things I do to help myself is consistantly tell myself "pay attention" and remind myself why I'm doing it. I put my goals on both a level of reason and emotion. This way no matter what is bothering me I can remind myself of what I want to do! If you're forgetting important information like in a college paper, then start your assignments early. Write them and then read them over again a few days later to see if you've forgotten anything. I also find that marking my own papers/exams/tests/study questions helps give me an idea of how well I am doing and what I've missed out.

My lover has ADHD and has had it since he was a kid. Stimulant medication helps him and even coffee helps to some degree. I've tried Ritalin, but don't like the mental 'tunnel vision' it gives me. It sort of shuts off the rest of my brain and keep me too focused and almost mentally silent, but then again, I don't have ADD/ADHD. Give it a try though. You might find that you like it.
