Lately I've been having these nightmares of killing innoscent animals. I'm a animal lover and cry everytime I see a road kill. So why would I dream of torturing animals & than killing them? I'm so angry in my dreams and am so evil & I would never do that to any animal or much less anyone! Lately I've been feeling alot of resentment towards my coworkers. The more and more I think about it I feel like I work with a bunch of lazy gossipy back stabbers & don't mind doing the same thing over everyday & don't really care about learning new things about physical therapy. Who don't care about progressing in life. Just sit there day to day & talk about other people. But I don't try to let this bother me & always feel outside of the box but don't care if I'm apart of the clique or not. It's not important to me. Is there a connection b/w my horrible dreams and my work situation? Why would I dream about animals instead of choking my coworkers in my dreams?Im startin to lash out onto my b/f, HELP!

Sounds to me like you are feeling a lot of stress and resentment. You obviously care about your job (much like you care about animals) and are frustrated by the situation that you are finding yourself in at work. Seems to me that your violent dreams are your brain's way of letting off some pent up aggression that builds up during your waking hours. Dreams are often representational; the animals represent your co-workers because your co-workers are messing up something that you enjoy/love, therefore you throttle them. I hope this helps! :)

Dreams are simply your minds way of unraveling the events of your daily life, so yes, there is obviously a connection. Perhaps, you feel as if your co-workers are animals with all the negative connotations of the word. Clearly, you do not see them as people. Which is unfortunate.

As for lashing out at your boyfriend, you need to learn how to control your emotions and your frustration and to think positively. Thinking so negatively about other people is only going to lead you down a dark angry path to loneliness. You don't have to like your co-workers, but the things you say and feel about them doesn't make you any better than a gossiping 'back stabber'.

Well, its just a dream. I have weird dreams too, it doesnt mean that what I do in my dream I will do in my life. Dreams are subconsious wishes or desires. The animals could symbolize something, like your coworkers maybe or maybe something else. I really dont know how to interperet your dream but you might be right that youre frustration at work is causing you stress. You might be right, the animals symbolizing people. I dont know.

Maybe you are transposing your co-workers into animals in your dreams. There might be a connection. What kind of animals are they. What kind of feelings do you equate with these animals? This might be your answer. If the dreams continue you might, however talk to a counciler, or Psychologist.

Maybe the animals represent innocence. It's hard to see animals hurt becase they are innocent. So the fact that you are the one killing these innocent creatures makes me think that you have not only lost your innocence, but KILLED it somehow. Did you cheat on your boyfriend? Or do something that was really bad that my have changed you? Becuase my guess is that your dreams represent you doing something that made you lose your innocence.

Get some counseling. You seem to have some surprised anger.
As for the dreams, probably too many jalapeños before bedtime ;)

Maybe you feel that you can't take it out on your co-workers yet and innocent animals are the first steps where can vent out your frustration.
