Hi. I'd like to ask if someone has a memory-loss, will he still have the same habits or personality as before? I've read in some Psychology books and they say that some habits or personality can't be changed. So I just wonder if it's true in the case of people who suffer from a memory-loss.

it depends on what kind of memory loss this person has.

My step-mother has alheimers and the only thing that has changed on her is her memory. They have her doing things to improve her memory, but her personality is still the same. She is still the bubbly happy person she was when my step-dad married her 32 yrs. ago. So I guess it depends on the person, sweetie.

As someone who has experienced this then yes you will still behave the same and have the same personality. Sometimes however I feel empty, like a part of me is missing

it depends on whether the habit was something he was born with in his genes or if he developed due to his environment. i dont think he'll lose it if he was born with it
