What is it a big deal if someone just has suidcidal thoughts, but couldn't go through with killing themselves? Do you think if someone just has suidcidal thoughts they are mentally ill, even if they wouldn't killed themselves?

Please don't take this offensive. For a class my Professor asked us all to write a speech. He gave us all topics and asked us to research them for our speech. My topic is on how alot of people don't stay in school and never go on to college because they dropped out of High School and I was hopeing to have some sort of a percentege on how many people have dropped out and not regretted it, how many people have dropped out and regretted it, and how many people haven't dropped out are glad they didn't (drop out). So can you guys tell me if you guys have dropped out and don't regret it, dropped out and regretted it, and didn't drop out and are glad you didn't (drop out). Please dom't take this personal I'm just taking a vote.

How many people out there use an alter ego ? For example, do any of you have your "normal" e-mail address or Yahoo questions account, and then have a second one with a bogus name where you can let your gaurd down and be a whole lot nuttier, If you know what I mean. If you get your accoulnts shut down, so what, you just create a new alias and five minutes later you're back. Does anyone out there do this, and why ?

Ive been dealing with some issues that i feel i should have 'grown' out of by now. I'll give some quick background info. in college i dated a guy who hit me if i stole a french frie from his plate. i ended that one quick. after that. i dated a guy for almost 2 years who made going to see my family or friends a constant battle. after that ended, i was on my way to a friends wedding when i was supposed to pick up another close (male) friend to go as my date, and he sexually assaulted me. since then, ive moved to a new city, bought a business, and im dating a guy and have been for 2 years. we have a good relationship when im not 'acting out'. My insecurites seem quite large. I worry my mate finds all other women more attractive. I often worry that he's never going to want to settle down with me...that I'm not worth it. And Ive also noticed that since ive moved here with all the changes...i overreact. I cry a lot when im stressed..almost like hyperventilating. what's up with me

When you go to dream interpreters they will all have different response. So any guess to a dream is just as good. Or is it because of the influence of movies and TV show that many people want to have their dreams interpreted?

The thing is that I am working and trying to take care of our bills. you know I really love her and think she is the one. She do almost anything for me. She took care of me when i had nothing. I know she has this money issue and may feel I wont pay her bill and keep her credit up but I will. All I want is for her to just get me this x-box 360 that cost $500 and she wont charge it on her credit card. I told her I will give her the money piece by piece for her credit card bill. I notice everytime I mention it her mood changes. I dont want her to feel like I am using her. I will pay her back. I just have my own bills that i have to clear first then get to hers and also I have to give my grandma some money aswell and I dont think she see how much expense I have. I am grateful that she spent all that money on me when I didnt have any but I just want her to understand that but she doesn't. What should I do to show her I am for real and will pay all that she owe for taking care of me?

Please help me somehow anybody …
When I came to the states, I lived in a suburb and there was this friend who lived not far with from my house. He had a family member that would often come over but I was quitly shy and at the first look of the “family member” I remember I had a weird feeling… I just didn’t know what it was-but it was something strong and powerful deep in me. There would be times we would play but that feeling would stop me because I just didn’t know what it was. I was a quiet shy girl at the time.
But my story is… when I moved to different city –I lost contact of the “friend” and when I had to switch schools –I was so nervous and scared of going to a new school, but as soon as I walked in, I had a strange feeling –and when I came into my class “there he was the friends family member looking straight at me. The feeling returned-still unkown to me what it meant-but it was so deep and strong-and no words were spoken –only eye to eye connection.
So there we were going to the same schools together, and each day to day the feeling got stronger-as if he was a part of me in away- as if my mind was telling me something different then my heart-its weird –so weird beyond weird to me… but years passed and we came close until I told him I didn’t like him ( but the truth was I couldn’t help myself and this feeling was uncontrollable –and I would do everthing I can to get him out of my head.

I just think they choose to be there, there is a way out, they are the one choosing not to take it, why should I feel sympathy for some one with no self-respect. I know they say you cant understand until its you but that’s the point it never will be I would never EVER let a man treat me that way and get away with it, but if I did I certainly wouldn’t want sympathy as I think if you choose to put up with abuse that is your fault.
There will always be wife beaters but it’s your choice over whether to be their victim,
I don’t want to sound cruel and I do want the psychology behind it, because I genuinely don’t get it? And until I do I wont feel sympathetic.
