i think Russell is quite an intelligent sort of guy with an easy style but why does he aim to shock with explicit sex statements and gestures? I always think people who do that feel unsure about sex issues themselves. Is he related to Jo Brand?

I know the guy's had problems, but his attempts to shock aren't intelligent a la Chris Morris or Victor Lewis-Smith, they're just meaningless indulgences to cover up (in my opinion) just an average wit. I've heard his radio shows a few times, I've listened as he adds unnecessary closure to other people's witticisms, it's not very enjoyable.

I really like him, I find him oddly compelling and very attractive, which is maybe something I should worry about later. I can see where you're coming from about his being over the top with some shocking comments, I think its more of a need to feel he's one step ahead of the game, on the cutting edge of comedy and breaking barriers so he's maybe trying too hard to shock to compensate. Its good to have variety though and I think he's great and its so nice to have someone so eloquent on TV - I really admire that.

Russell Brand is a LEGEND! I love him he has provided the best comedy I have seen in a while. I adore his hair and think that he has a lot to say on sex. I admire him for the fact that he has quit his addiction to herroin. What a guy!!!!!!

He comes across as creepy and a total scruff. I wish he'd run a brush through his hair. He also talks a load of rubbish. I don't think he's related to Jo...except they have similar hairstyles !

I think he is funny listen to his show sometimes with my teenage son he is very open about sex & his views he speaks his mind but I do not see him as a sex symbol he looks like he needs a good wash & comes over as being gay not my type

He doesn't bother me either way,I don't understand what women see in him though any man that uses more hairspray than myself I'd have concerns about,don't know if he's related to Jo Brand maybe only in mad hair!

I like guys with long hair but not when they tease it into a strange shape. He is good-looking i like dark brown eyes etc but he is also a bit weird. He once said that he could not do his show without taking the drugs he uses and that has put me off him for good. Still think he is good-looking .

I agree with you I also think he is an intelligent guy, I think he aims to shcok to get noticed so he would get more and more famous. And eventually more jobs.

Not welcome near small children.
