How many people out there use an alter ego ? For example, do any of you have your "normal" e-mail address or Yahoo questions account, and then have a second one with a bogus name where you can let your gaurd down and be a whole lot nuttier, If you know what I mean. If you get your accoulnts shut down, so what, you just create a new alias and five minutes later you're back. Does anyone out there do this, and why ?

everyone who uses a screen name other then the one given at birth is using a "alter ego" on line.
I try not to go that route for the simple fact that if I'm going to go to the trouble of coming up with somthing shocking or silly I'm going to take credit for it.

I wouldn't say I have an alter ego. It's more like I do a zillion yahoo answers that my friends don't know about and would have no idea how to find out it's me. More anonymous than anything else I guess.

hmmm...usually alter egos don't come in the shape of another email address, but on a bigger scale...like having 2 groups of friends, and u act differently with each...i guess i can say i have an alter ego, but it's a matter of differences between people i like and i don't think one of them is fake or something, they're both part of the same person
