My Happy Poem
just for you...

So here it is,
The happy one.
Today I'll have a bit of fun.

A rhapsody.
A melody.
My opus and my symphony.

A delectable, delightful treat.
A candy, oh, a wicked sweet.

My soul.
A stroll.
Completely droll.
Delightfully out of control.

So here you go.
My vertigo.
My trip through miles and miles of snow.

Hold on tight.
Don't try to fight.
My happy poem,
Just drips delight

Like honey from a child's tongue,
Or whispers of the aging young.

A lullaby that makes you cry,
The tears of happy years gone by.

Watch your step,
The path is steep,
So take a breath before you leap

Into a world of endless bliss,
As charming as a baby's kiss.

And right when you arrive right there,
You'll never leave.
It's true.
I swear.

My world,
My truth.
My universe.
My haven in my merry verse.

It welcomes you,
With open arms.
You're flattered by its mirthful charms.

So stay awhile.
Right in the shade
Of the happiest poem
I've ever made. ♥

Everyone feels down sometime. Here is what I do. I go for a walk. Exercise releases chemicals in the brain that make you feel better. Walking is something almost everyone can do. While you are walkiing think about why you are feeling down. Narrow down the problems to one or two major ones and then make a plan on how to make the problems better. Make a mental to do list. Financial problems - you list might include list your bills, plan on what you pay on pay day. Think about how to earn extra money. etc. Job sucks - update your resume, look on the computer for jobs - think about getting additional training. Lonely - think where you could go to meet people who have the same interest as you. need a new look - plan on what it needs to be. Don't worry about being practical think about giving away all you earthly goods and becoming a monk. Laugh at the idea and get right back to making your list. Walking costs nothing, exercise is always good and it can clear your mind. When you get home, jot your list down and see what you can put into action right then. People begin to feel down when they feel something is not quite right in a situation and feel they can't fix it. Give yourself a plan of action and you suddenly put it in your control. When you get home put on some music that makes you want to move. No slow sad songs. Did you decide a realtionship is over? How about Ray Charles song "Hit the road Jack" So basically I am saying walk, list the problem, list possible solutions, decide on a plan and then execute your plan. All the while keep moving, trick those chemicals in your brain into releasing to help you keep you mood up and that give you the engery to fix the problem.

I try to break a sweat from a very arduous workout (30-45 minutes of running, martial arts, lifting/calesthentics, etc.), and then clean up my place (i.e., vacuum, dust, do the laundry, scrub out the toilets, etc.).

I then take a long shower.

Then, it's off to my favorite Mexican restaurant/take out joint and an order of Carne Asada Fries (great big container of greasy, salty french fries, topped with carne asada, guacamole, Mexican cheese, and jalapeno peppers.) and eat it with some freshly made rice, and lettuce, and about two cans of 7-Up.

I then watch documentaries or martial arts videos while my cat falls asleep on my lap purring away.

i try not to think about the incident. i always tell myself that things happened for a reason & that it could be a blessing in disguise & most times, it's true.
