I mean why would that be so, or if you disagree, why do you have another opinion?

If you worry too much about embarrassing yourself, you're not likely to ever accomplish anything.
The reason we as Americans aren't "hampered" by this fear is because we're an achievement oriented society. Who cares how you go about accomplishing something, or how many times it takes to do it so long as in the end you do it right?! If we embarrass ourselves while doing something, so what? Eventually we'll get it right.

I feel we are all our own individual selves and we should be able to express ourselves any way that we want. We all have different thoughts of what is funny, what is right and what is wrong!? Correct? If we were all the same there would there be less less laughter or more laughter? There would be the same amount of laughter in my opinion because we would all laugh at the same things. Boring! We all have different opinions of the word Fear. Why fear embarrassment when another country could bomb us at anytime and then what would happen? Isn't there alot more to fear in life than embarrassment? i think there is.

No I don't, everyone has and should have a fear of embarrassing themselves, it's just a natural feeling and sometimes can get out of control.

i agree, and thats what makes america great- they are not afraid to fall on their face. They get up and try and try and try and dont give a **** what you think of them. Even when they are stupid and wrong like certain leaders.
Thats how leaders get ahead. No fear. Dont give a damn what people think of you. Just be yourself.
Dont fear being different. Fear losing yourself to overcontrol.

If you are talking about what is on television than you are talking about money. If you are talking about the actual culture, well they particularly don't like to embarress themselves and the only one most people see are the drunk, or confused ones. Look at their Doctors and Scientists. (Avoid the Government unless you are intrested in republican and democrat fights)
