k so this is how my science project works. Im testing the media's effect on children. I take children from grades 4-6, give them different types of music to listen to, like rap, rock, r&b, etc and tell them to draw whatever they feel like. I also ask them questions while they're listening like how they feel, what they would most want to do right now, etc. Please give suggestions of other methods i could use that could give accurate results.

This morning I dreamed this very thing. I was running from a girl (maybe a woman?) that I didn't know. I hid in an abandoned house. She almost found me but she didn't.

I was tormented by this dream because I was conscious that I was tossing and turning in the bed. I was still asleep but knew I was dreaming because I thought, "Just wake yourself up and stop this dream." and I did.

Even if the guy is a good guy, why is it still assumed by the majority of women? Is there some sort of communication barrier which entitles them to cut off verbal explaination, then assume the other person could read between the lines and know the true meaning of the statement?
There are guys that do it too, but this is more of a girl thing.
A lot of guys get annoyed when this "hint dropping" occurs and I just want to know:
Is it a type of conditioning of the past where women decide to not give straight answers and questions? Or is it a natural type of "guessing game" that is embedded in the brain?

I have Bipolar, ADHD, Depression, ODD & OCD. Lately, I have been saying sorry for EVERYTHING. Even for things that I don't need to say sorry for.

Like if I say something about something, then I will say 'Sorry for bringing it up'.

I don't even know why I do this. To me, inside, it almost feels as if if I don't do it then something bad will happen. It is a weird feeling.
But, when I get mad at something or someone I don't feel like I HAVE to punch them or anything. It is just the sorry thing.

I don't understand it. This 'sorry' thing has been pointed out to me numerous times.

Could this have something to do with my OCD? I really need some help because I can't see my Psychiatrist for like another month.

Thanks in advance! Any help is appriciated.

A lot has been going on. I've been really sick [so I've been missing school-- I'm 16] and I have literally ZERO friends in my grade. My best friend moved away so i hardly see her and my boyfriend doesn't go to my school and the 2 friends I have AREN'T in my grade so I NEVER see them and the classes are kinda hard and the teachers DON'T understand my medical issues [I have some chronic illnesses that compromise my immune system]. I've even resorted to cutting but luckily I haven't since Oct. 20th so that's good but I still think about it A LOT and I don't know what to do and when I go to the doctor he dismisses it like it's nothing, we're looking into another doctor. I just need something NOW! Oh, did I mention I'm like oober poor so I can't afford stuff? Yeah... so if you have a free or SUPER CHEAP answer, TELL ME!

most parents would agree that their kids always seem to grow up too quickly,but now,puberty is hitting young girls earlier than ever. nearly half of african american girls start showing signs of puberty by 8yr old, and some american girls are developing as 5,even 4 yrs,expert say.skyla is an energetic 5yr old from georgia who loves to play. last year her mother,melissa notice skyla was tired all the time,had a body odor and had blood in her urine.she say she din't know what was going on,she went right ahead and thought her daughter had a kidney infection.and we went on antibiotics and still din't clear it up.she took her to a pediatric endocrinologist.where doctor say she was menstruatina and expericing other unmistakable signs of puberty.melissa got freaked out. well skylar went to diffrent doctors until they found out her symptoms were caused by a thyroid.

in the dream theres lots of peeps hanging around and whwnever i get close everybody says to go away. and in the whisperers i can here something about a secret about animals or something. if you ask me its pretty wierd!!!??? then theres something about a person who can cure the secret( very wierd!!!) or something. and everytime i wake up ( usually in the middle of the night) i see ( in my room)something dark and black is just sitting there in the middle of my room staring at me. this was the first time this happened. it was last night when this happened! PLEASE HELP ME!!

I have been seeing a therapist who specializes in compulsive sexual behaviors. I also attend 12 Step meetings for my sexually compulsive behaviors. My therapist is in agreement that I have a sexual behavior problem, and the therapist uses the term "sexual addiction" in describing my behavior problem. I won't get into the details. My therapist asks a lot of questions about my childhood, and lately has focused on my father's disciplinary actions, which can be viewed as physical abuse. Again, I will spare you the details. My therapist seems to imply that my "sexual addiction" is linked to physical abuse as a child. My question is how are the two linked? I am not into BDSM. I have my own theories, and I am interested in hearing your theories, particularly if you were physically abused as a child. I want to stress that I was NOT sexually abused. Thanks. Peace.
