A lot has been going on. I've been really sick [so I've been missing school-- I'm 16] and I have literally ZERO friends in my grade. My best friend moved away so i hardly see her and my boyfriend doesn't go to my school and the 2 friends I have AREN'T in my grade so I NEVER see them and the classes are kinda hard and the teachers DON'T understand my medical issues [I have some chronic illnesses that compromise my immune system]. I've even resorted to cutting but luckily I haven't since Oct. 20th so that's good but I still think about it A LOT and I don't know what to do and when I go to the doctor he dismisses it like it's nothing, we're looking into another doctor. I just need something NOW! Oh, did I mention I'm like oober poor so I can't afford stuff? Yeah... so if you have a free or SUPER CHEAP answer, TELL ME!

This sounds like a serious case of stress induced by unfulfilled expectations. This stress is known for its deterioration of the immune system and of the circulatory system (poor circulation) and imbalance of the bodily processes and chemicals (organs don't work right). There are three ways cope with this (I'll start from the easiest and move to the most effective): Medicine, Exercise, Peace.

Medicine is an easy fix from a doctor, but it doesn't treat the causes, only the symptoms.

Exercises burns away adrenaline and releases toxins which build up from poor circulation and other stress induced causes. It doesn't treat the casuses, but only the environment (in your body) responsible for the symptoms. Combine this with healthy eating, MOST IMPORTANTLY: NO MORE SUCROSE (table sugar). I can't emphasize the ills of sucrose (i.e. sugar cane) enough, so I'll let the caps suffice.

Peace treats the psychological causes of the major stresses which you have described. Clear your mind, accept reality, be at peace with everything, meditate, pray, chant, engage in repetitive tasks, surround yourself with soft light (like candles or low lights) low ambient sounds. Deactivate the mind, most importantly: stop talking to yourself, stop the incessant chatter in the mind which overwhelms most humans during most of their conscious existance. When you have to say something in your head, then make it inspiring to yourself, so that it positively creates an inner strength and peace within yourself.

As you find peace by accepting reality and turning off your mind, you will be happy and confident and powerful, and that right there will inherently attract friends like a powerful magnet. Find the peace and happiness, and everyone will want your companionship.

Try out Yoga, as it combines exercise with meditation. Obtain anti-anxiety medicine and use it religiously, even when you think that your mind is finding peace. Wait a long time after you've found complete peace before you stop taking the medicine, lest the effects of stopping the medicine harm/complicate the process of finding confidence, inner strength and peace.

BTW, medicines are not that expensive, and they are definitely worth it. Also, this answer is not implying that the mind is to remain off always, but only when you feel depression or anxiety as a method of restoring balance.

A change of perspective can work wonders.

Do not dwell on negatives.

Try to find something that you enjoy that can take your mind away from all the things you don't like in your life...

If you get deeply involved in a book or something, that can help.

Personally, when I need to remove my thoughts from negative issues, I read Harry Potter...

It almost creates a separate world in your head in which everything is OK.

This cannot solve your problems, but it's a way to give you some temporary relief.

Lose your troubles in a book. Pause everything, and enjoy.

Depression is common among people your age. I went through the same thing in high school. You have to remember that it's going to pass. Life after high school is usually extremely different from life during. I recommend getting a job. Find something to do with your time. Pets can help with depression too. Free kittens usually aren't too hard to find.

Stay with it and don't think there's no way out. If nothing else, time is a way out.

cutting is bad, kiddo. I hope you stay off of that. It's typically a sign of wanting attention/affection.
This is going to sound terrible, but things are going to get worse before they get worse. Such is life.
BUT, you're young and resilient. You still have time to make good with your life. So don't give up hope. Hang in there, get a 2nd opinion, or even 3rd, and know that there are literally millions of other people out there just as depressed as you are right now.

Good luck and keep your chin up.
