Okay I have a problem with keeping a job, I really want a job! I love the feeling of being independent. But I have trouble grasping the concepts that they teach me in order to do a job well. It's like they will tell me how to do something but later on I forget to do some steps and it causes problems. Why? and how do I change this?

All my life I have been like that! Never really understanding everything about something, just learning enought to get by. It's like I have trouble learning everything about something and I think it is finally catching up with me.

I want to know if it could have something to do with my cognitive fuction or something that I don't even know was wrong with me. Please help me to fix myself.

Also another thing about me that might come in handy is that I shy away from social situations and making friends for fear that I don't posses the skills to keep them.

I swear a lot but sometimes some ignorant git challenges me and tries to pursuade me that I am a naughty little boy and that I must grow up and become a stuffed shirt like everyone else.
I always say that it is very important to me to communicate well and that I will use swearwords if I feel that this adds value to my communication.
I say that people who are more interested in the detail of my style than they are in the substance of my communication are getting their priorities badly wrong.
I always ask Puritans why they have a probem but I've never had a valid answer. All answers given basically boil down to hust one thing and that is, "My parents told me that swearing was wrong and they punshed me every time that I swore so therefore swearing must be wrong be cause mummy and daddy said so and because they wouldn't have punished me for no reason".

Does anyone have a better answer? I would like an answer that is preferably one that is more grounded in the present.

Our eyes. Why do they hold such significance? Why does it feel like a window to the soul, and why, can't people who hold secrets or have done bad things not look directly into your eyes?...

I love music. I listen to it 24 hours a day, all the time. When I don't listen to it, I get mood swings and cranky and I need it back on. Is this not a dependency on music. Is something you depend on not classed as an addicition? I feel it is. If anything is done repeatedly, is that not an addicition? So, is music a drug in its own right?

But what are your main recommendations about things that are best avoided?

Or you may want to list surrender as one of your avoidances.
So list your main recommendations about things that are best surrendered to or tell us of your recommendation of never surrendering to anything.

when i was a child (12) i was playing near a canal, it was getting dark. i saw a red/orange glow.. i turned to see a tall figure.. arms stretched out like jesus on the cross.. but there was no cross.. the whole thing glowed red/orange with no features.. it lit the area where it hovered. i turned away n looked back but it stayed there for 5 mins or so.. i turned again n it had gone. ive never been so scared in my life. im in my thirties now.. i wish i knew what happened..

Once I was standing at the gate of a house, I heard some glasses or tublers falling in the kitchen. I noticed it and asked about to the house owner. He told me that frequently they were also hearing that, He don't know which is his father or mother. (They were died in an accident). Do you have any such experience?

I would like to reinvent myself over christmas this year.In preperation for this I would like to get to know likeminded people who maybe would be up for this.I'm not looking for a straight swop, although if you managed to understand Stephen Hawkings Brief History of Time that may be an advantage as I'm stuck on page 245.Thanks.

A good friend of mine keeps having these recurring dreams where the whole world is underwater.Down to the last detail its the same as the film waterworld, even complete with Kevin in it, except minus the rather strange mad max esque type oufits. He dosent seem to think this is odd.My only concern is that he is now building a large boat and keeps saying he will change his name to Noah.Does he know something we dont or is he just nuts ?
