Next time you want to say ‘why are Muslims so’ or ‘why are Christians so’ or ‘why are gays so’ or ‘why are Jews so’ or ‘why are women so’ or ‘why are men so’……can you change that to ‘why are SOME PEOPLE so'….

To clarify....
some Muslims, some gays, etc doesn't cut it.....the nasty adjectives people are throwing around are HUMAN traits--not traits specific to a particular group or category of people....some people are racist, some people are untrustworthy, some people are killers, some people are irrational....and so on.

Standing up and applauding, girl. Standing up and applauding.

I try to be as anti-labelist as possible, and it is surprisingly difficult. That's why I stand up and applaud you for using the term "some people", not just "people".

See the person, not the label.

That's a fantastic idea. They say that the best way to aoid fighting is to avoid using extremes comments. ie: you do that ALL the time. You NEVER do this. Gays are..... nice question.

I'll agree with your dare, cause I never believe in discrimination. Being an Asian woman, even a woman, does earn me some discrimination. We are all created equal by God, so question, why can't others get it in their coconut shells?(mind)

It would be nice, wouldn't it? I can't stand those questions, that lump everyone together, then go on to say that you can't judge all people the same.

I always (usually?) qualify my questions with many, some, or a few rather than generalizing like so many do. There are no absolutes in my book.

'Nuff said?
