I'm aware this has been asked one too many times... but I want someone to give a good basis on the question... So this is my scenario... I know the saying goes "Once a cheater, always a cheater" how come some girls don't understand that guys can change.... I wanted to go with a girl my age. She played around with me, my emotions. Tthen she gave an authentic shot to be with her then she held the stuf I did High School despite me telling her about my pass... then next I know is that she is with one of my friends... I don't care about her anymore... however i the world changes; why can't a cheater change?

I've been diagnosed with manic depression, I'm cyclothymic (mild bipolar) and emotionally disabled. Recently, my fiance left me. I got into a severe depression, and then my anger took hold. I explained to her many times that I cannot stand it when I yell, when I threaten, when I push her away so badly, in fact, it hurts me more that I do it because it's basically ruining my life. I want to attract, not push. I want her to come to me on her own will and not run from me screaming. Please... does anyone have any serious help that I could look into to fix this self-destruction? I can'ttake the pain that I cause anymore. I really need someones help.

And I can't do it alone...

Whenever I'm doing nothing active, such as watching a movie, listening to music or trying to sleep, I tend to... 'pick' at my toenails until they bleed. My toe nails are completely destroyed and the skin around them is torn.

My doctor explained to me that this is apart of my obsessive compulsive disorder, which I have had since I was about seven years old. I've been doing this since then, so I don't doubt her.

Does anyone else do something similar? OR Does anyone have any tips to stop doing this? I don't realize I do it until it hurts, so it's not like I let this happen. There have been times though. It's like i'm addicted to doing this... And no it's not an attraction to pain, because once it starts to hurt, I realize it and stop.

Thanks!

I am married for almost 14 years. We have a great sex life. But sometimes I feel bad about it being such a part of our life. We are commited to only each other. We don't go out side of the marriage. But for some reason I feel guilty at times because it is such a focal point in our realationship.
Why do I feel like it is wrong?

I wonder why my friends never take me seriously and treat me with respect. I was a nice, easy going person and doesn't treat people like crap. Why my friends often break appointment last minute with me and inform me the last minute and doesn;t keep their promise often?I will never do that to them because it disrespect. Are they taking me for granted, not important enought to show respect? When i ask for simple help from them, some didn't even make the effort to help me. I was left feeling helpless as i thought i was her best friend and she didn;t even care about me. What should i do?

Or is it me? Am i taking it too personally, too sensitive and petty? Too childish to behave such way (being jolly and nice)? How should i behave to change this situation in my life? How shall i convey the message to them to show respect to me? I definitely respect them. I am tired of being dissapointed...please help...

Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am messy, in debt and need to lose a few pounds...

If those three issues were resolved, I feel that my life would be a whole lot better.

If YOU were handing out advice, what whould you tell me to do?

I am gainfully employed, NOT a kid and NOT looking for some smart *** answer.

Nor do I want be judged on my ":negatives" Shoot, ALL of us are guilty of SOMETHING we'd like to change!).

Overall, I am happy with my life, felt that I have made good decisions in the past, and wouln't want to trade lives with anyone, even tho I am a bit frustrated right now with my own (life)

Tell me your story (about what you think might be holding you back) and perhaps I can learn from you.

Appreciate it...

Thanks!.

The decitions we make in life are influenced by the people we meet, the lives we live, the things we learn to like, our emotion, the events that happen. So do we really have free will or are we just the result of everything that happened in our lives?

I have one--I stare at people. I think it makes people uncomfortable. I just like to observe peoples features, especially if they are exotic or different. I don't mean to do it--I'm just curious about them.

Hi, everyone. I am an Asian American college student. I need advice for my friend who is also Asian. He is feeling extremely depressed and suicidal from pressure to succeed in school and in getting top jobs.
FYI, most Asian parents put a lot of pressure on their children to do well academically because they believe it is sure key to success. The problem is that some parents put more pressure than their children can handle, hence making the children feeling depressed and even suicidal.
My friend comes from family where a lot of his family members, cousins, relatives have graduated from top-notch schools like Harvard, Yale, and Princeton and work as a Wall Street stockbroker, MD, lawyer, etc.
He says he often feels left alone because he is nowhere close to them in terms of the status. He is only going to State Univ. and doesn't have great GPA. He says he feels extreme mental tortures everyday and life doesn't seem like a life anymore.
How can I help him?

Imagine that you have been captured by spies and while they are interrogating you for information they show what they plan to torture you with in order to make you talk. What would be your worse nightmare and make you start talking right away?

(I am not asking this to make people mad or offend anybody!) I'm truly curious why people smoke when they know that it can kill you....I know that a lot of the older people probably did'nt realize back in the day HOW BAD it really was but today everyone talks about it so why? Again, I'm not trying to judge anybody I'm only curious.
