I'm aware this has been asked one too many times... but I want someone to give a good basis on the question... So this is my scenario... I know the saying goes "Once a cheater, always a cheater" how come some girls don't understand that guys can change.... I wanted to go with a girl my age. She played around with me, my emotions. Tthen she gave an authentic shot to be with her then she held the stuf I did High School despite me telling her about my pass... then next I know is that she is with one of my friends... I don't care about her anymore... however i the world changes; why can't a cheater change?

I feel your frustation but I'm asking do you think that a cheater can change... for I'm here to say that I have changed... since in High School I was a cheater and now I'm trying to get my life back to have a steady girlfriend like I did back in the day in my freshman year.....

I have changed.... Forget about her, I just use the scenario as a showcase that I have changed.... So, we are changed from good to bad, and vice versa why can't a cheater become a loyal being?

What you did in high school isn't necessarily what you will do now that you're more mature. That's one thing.

Another thing is once in a while someone may be in a relationship that isn't great, and they will meet someone else and cheat. Is it right? No. At the same time, though, it could be the circumstances that made it difficult to resist temptation and end the old relationship before starting a new one.

I think its possible that a person may stray once either because he/she is young and immature or because of certain circumstances; so I don' t necessarily think "once a cheater...."
always applies absolutely all of the time.

Still, if the person is mature and cheats more than once; or if the cheating isn't the result of some very extenuating circumstances, then I think "once a cheater...." holds true.

nfortunately, a cheater will always be a cheat. In all context, as long as the consequences, are not devastating en ought to feel the pain, then why quit. People like that will eventually suffer the pain extreme enough for them to recognize there wrong doing. Until then, the people that get hurt meanwhile, is a trial period for them to see how long they can sustain that activity. The question I have to myself, what will it take for that person to see what they are doing to others, including themselves. What are they willing to sacrifice or compromise for the duration of such though less, hurt full, evil, unsatisfying behavior for them to see the end result, They made that choice, now they have to live with the results, I feel sorry for people like that, because they end up with nothing, because they had nothing to start with LOL

I guess it is possible for a cheater to change. But I think once that person cheats, it's hard to trust them again.

I believe that cheaters can change into being faithful....everyone deserves a chance until they give reason to believe other wise.
