Yes, if a medical condition has not been diagnosed. There is also an equivalent of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, called Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.

You shouldn't worry about it, or be afraid to go to sleep though. It's rare for this to happen. You're probably about as likely to die in your sleep at your age as you are to get a date with a supermodel!

Hi there,
yes anyone can doe in their sleep at any age.
like the others that answered you, i agree, do not worry yourself about this,
we all will die,
some out of illness
some accident,
some horribly a homicide,
some of old age
heart conditions,
cancer
many things that challenge our bodies, and life systems.

If you have a real obsession re this, or you are really afraid, i think you should talk to counselors, but the right kind, and maybe you can find what is goiing on inside you that has tapped into your fear.

The fear of dying, (i have had it0 I Think many people at one time or another go thru it, and it is real scarry..

If you pray, and lean on God, this will give lyou comfort, and if this is not your thing,,
well, it wont hurt you.. TRY GOD, instead of going thru all kinds of sources, people lto talk to,, books ect,
TRY GOD, and you might be surprised how fast your fears will go away..
don't worry,
in fact maybe your subconscious is working overtime because of something that you have not even realized is stressing you..
Goodness it can be may things,
i sincerely wish you well
I gotta go now before the people who complain about people like me,, read this, and yawn or get irritated because it is so long

God bless you. now and in all your nights you go to sleep.

Yes. It is not nearly as likely to happen in your early 20s as it is if you are in your early 90s, but it does happen. Not generally to healthy people though.

of course, a person can die in their sleep at any stage of life, but why let that worry you? there is so much more to life than focusing on stuff like that, live to the fullest and best possible. best wishes.

Answer: Yes.
You can go to sleep, and NEVER wake up at any age.
Don't think for a moment that death is the exclusive providence
of "old people".
My friend went that way when he was 17.

yea, its called overdose of a lot of stuff...or indigestion...when u eat before u go to sleep, ur stomach is working hard ...and u seem really tired... because all teh blood is going towards the activated part of ur tummy, hence decreasing blood flow to other areas of ur body such as the brain...
other causes: hypoglycemia, ischemia to the brain when ure sleeping...and just simply death...

Yes. There are many factors that can lead to that: cancer, overdose of medicine, etc. but if you're a normal, healthy person, you shouldn't worry.
