Yes in MANY cases, think of it this way, you walk down a street, and you pass one large apartment building, and right as you do a large piano falls down where you were less than two seconds prior, but since your headphones were on you knew nothing, and kept on your way, however, if you had known, you would have gotten upset, yelled at people and could get yourself into a anxiety attack situation.

Absolutely. In a world that exists as only "I know" or is about what "I know" don't you think ignorance is such sweet bliss? Remember childhood? When your world wasn't so big and you could concentrate on the little things.. the things that make you happy. You didn't have to worry about bills or marriage or death or diets or global warming or politics or anything! You could know that you were cared for by your parents and there was nothing to worry about but living in your own world. To live and play freely.. without having to think about cancer or the evening news.. that's bliss.
Ofcourse theres a time and place for everything.. sometimes ignorance is that bliss, other times it's the pain of the world.

Yes & no. Ignorance can be bliss. It can also be the death of you because what you don't know can hurt you and then the bliss is gone.

For the most part...I think yes. If you don't know what you are missing, then you should be happy where you are. What could be more blissful that being content?

It works for me when I want to tune things out. Like watching the news for the past couple of weeks! I don't know what's going on, and I'm not stressing over it.
I'm blissfully ignorant.

Remember the movie, "Pleasantville?".
You can only hide from the truth for so long.
To live in denial from reality? You might as well be a nun or something.
