Anyone else have so many interests, and enjoy so much of what life has to offer, that frustrations over time limitations overwelm you?

Each of us is unique (like everone else). So, we all have different ways we want to be treated. I would love everyone to be totally honest with me all the time- even brutally honest. I can handle that. But i know fer damn sure that people don't want me to be honest, even a little bit. I do alright with people. Partly because i (as i like to think ) 'play the war'. I mean i fit in. Ya know? I'm just a person like anyone else. We all have different standards and such. So, is the golden rule BS?

I can remember right before I turned 3 because I remember sneaking a taste of icing off the cake at our new house, and I remember moving in to the house, which was before I turned 3. But why can't people remember when the were babies, or in their mothers womb?

I am extremely afraid of children and have to physically get up and leave the situation. If a child walks too close to me, I literally have a full blown panic attack and freak out and leave the vicinity. This happens no matter what, and the fear is uncontrollable. I have no control whatsoever to my fear and and have no control whatever to my extreme anxiety.

Tonight, for example, I went out to eat with a friend. He and I were sitting down waiting for out meal to be served, when two children walked right past our table. My friend noticed that I became extremely agitated and tense, and then when my anxiety reached an intolerable level I bolted from my seat and quickly walked to the register to get my drink.

We were there for almost an hour and I literally zoned out and could not carry on a lucid conversation. I was tense the whole time and my anxiety was not relieved until we left the establishment.

Why causes this unnatural and unhealthy fear, and is it normal?

I have to wonder, with some of the nastiness I've seen on the Pets threads, whether those people who post things about killing pets or eating them would actually do such things? Or are they just trying to get attention by flaming the boards? I'm concerned because I've seen animals that have been abused and it's horrible. Why do some people get a kick out of being nasty?

There is a scientific term that describes the tendency in humans to be incentivised toward a particular behavior simply by the addition of point accumulation regardless of the ultimate redemption value of the points.

Does doing the drug acid expand your mind or make you "smarter"? Can it give you special insights or allow you to see what others cannot see? Or is it more of an illusion? I am in a band and my friends say I can not understand the music until I drop acid. Please help. Thank you.

the definition for reality (in philosophy) is something that exists independently of ideas concerning it. i've thought about it, but I really can't figure out what that means.

I dated a guy for 3 years in high school and 1st year of college. We are both with different people now and we've been chatting online for the last 6 months like nothing ever happened. I just told him I had a dream about us and his girlfriend (the one he had before me) and he said "if ya think i'm sexy come on let me know"-which are lyrics from a Rod Stewart song. I didn't take his remark seriously.. but the remark did spark something in my mind.

So anyway, what do you think? We've been broken up for 2 years now.

*We lost our virginities to each other. Does that matter in my case?

like I think I'm one because I'll be sleeping(making you yawn?) and I'll be dreaming and I'll have a vision in my dream and then it'll go back after a little like 5 secs of what was suppose to happen. I had one like 4 years ago and it came true last year!?!?!?! So what does that mean?

I'm asking because I find it much harder to write when I'm not well.

How does this work, for you? Under which circumstances you find it easier to express yourself? And when is it difficult?

Does writing helps you to feel beter or, at least, relieved?

Thank you for sharing your life with me and have a wonderful day! :)

What the heck do you think happens to people between these two stages? When the men are pursing, they are miserable. Then when they catch, they get bored & cheat so the former object of their affection is miserable? Why are we humans like this & what are the solutions - if any?

A freaky question maybe, just would like to know other peoples' experience with isolation from 'normal' human contact.. ie an extended period of time..

Has it ever given you insight, driven you crazy, have you always had too much of a comfortable relationship with people close to really feel isolated?.. Do you feel it is or has been a big thing in your life?

During childhood, especially as one approaches puberty, it's perfectly natural - in fact, some people would argue it's even beneficial - to worry about what others think of you, how they perceive you, how you fit in, etc. However, I've noticed every once in awhile there are certain children who, despite the fact that everyone else seems to be going through this stage, don't really seem too affected by what their peers think. Why is this?
