I have to wonder, with some of the nastiness I've seen on the Pets threads, whether those people who post things about killing pets or eating them would actually do such things? Or are they just trying to get attention by flaming the boards? I'm concerned because I've seen animals that have been abused and it's horrible. Why do some people get a kick out of being nasty?

I think only God knows this answer. Those people ought to be taken out and done the same way they did the animal. If they want to act like an animal and kill like one, then they need to be gone!

They are all fantasies. Or mere expressions of repressed acts of hostilities towards animals.

attention seekers - they post something inflammatory to get a rise out of people.... play it down by responding with something like "duh" or "huh"
