Is it or is it not in the works? Why or why not? How would your life change if you felt it was in the works? Would it stay the same or would you change somehow?

Is it "uncool" for boys to study and do well? Too much video game playing? Too much Internet porn? Whatever the cause, the result is bad for young men -- women in their 20s are outearning them in several major cities. How do we justify this, given that males have every privilege? (And women, seriously -- keep up the good work. Feminism is working.)

I stumbled on this site not long ago and for the most part I'm impressed with what this site accomplishes, but I have noticed one HUGE side effect.

Why do people insist on answering questions (almost verbatim) that have already been answered? Do I really need to know 12 times that the X + 2 = 3 so X = 1? Why isn't this SPAM? Do they not notice it has already been answered? I think the reason they answer it is because it makes them, somehow, feel smarter then they actually are? Statistically we konw this isn't true, so stop doing it.

You don't have to look far to see what I'm talking about. And while I'll grant you that sometimes people are responding at the same time, if you notice the time stamps you'll notice this isn't quite true. So, can someone explain this phenomenon to me????

And just to make you feel smart, why don't you answer this riddle.

I was reading King James last night and I am genuinely curious as to what other's think. On a layman's level, I'm not a theology expert, or a shrink. According to the gospel of St. Luke(chapter 4), Jesus was tempted by the devil for forty days, in which time the devil tempted him to throw himself off the pinnacle of the temple in Jerusalem. The devil constantly tempted him, until as Luke relayed Chapter 4-13 "And when the devil had ended all of the temptation, he departed from him for a season."
My uncle, who was a diagnosed schizophrenic ,once smoked a carton of cigarettes with the devil on a bridge. The "voices" attributed to mentally ill people, reflect similarly to the commanding and tempting conversationalists that Christ himself encountered and defied... for a season. The most influential person in history battled the devil himself later to be crucified for (many reasons) , as so many of us now suffer a similar fate as martyrs for the stigma attached to "mental illness".

I found Carl Youngs interpretations a more agreeable refence to the study,i was totally turned off by Freud's idea that everthing a Human thinks about is sexually charged,I could not relate to his psycology of the human mind ...perhaps it related to a percentage of the human population, but not everyone is wired the same..I dont think you need a phd to be a bit skeptical about these types of Doctors....

So it rewards more for work and investment (less personal and corporate income taxes),but punishes idle assets like idle investments and luxurious consumption? Because income taxes, especially for lower income people, happen to be bad for the economy,so people won't have as much as they would to spend on everyday things.

So I dreamt that I was taken to an animal masturbation prison by a guard with a tattoo saying 'piercing' on his lip. The dream continued by me being pushed into a room with a rooster, I refused and upon escape I found that I had something in my nose. I discreetly tried to rub out the booger, much to my surprise it just kept coming out it was like a rubber band, which wrapped around my hand and trapped it.

back when oil was just under 70 dollars a barrel gas was at around 3 dollars a gallon. now oil is about 100 dollars a barrel and well gas is still about 3 dollars a gallon.

One would think gas prices would have a direct correlation with oil prices, but of course this (and everything related to this topic) must be complicated.

anyone have a viable reason for this? is someone eating the difference so our economy doesn't implode?

When a woman asks, after being with a man through a few kids and many years "why doesn't he want to have sex anymore?" she usually goes through the possible circumstances,- maybe he's cheating, maybe he's watching porn, maybe he's gay, maybe he's not the man I expected he'd be maybe he works too much .... When it seems more than likely from the outside that he's prorbably just tired of looking at you. Isn't that a pretty obvious assumption? It makes sense in most situations. But women want to find a problem with Him, because of course its his fault he doesn't feel like having sex with a woman he's had sex with hundreds of times and seen naked everyday for the past however many years; especially if now you are 30-50 lbs heavier, or you just simply unnerve him on a daily basis! What's difficult to understand about this? Im interested to know what women's thoughts are.

I have my masters in Health Administration, but I have little experience managing others. A new employee constantly refused to do things. When asked to do something that is part of her job description, she simply responds (with much attitude) "Oh, I don't do that!" The managers have told her that in the past, those duties have been the responsibility of the person with her title. However, when they try to train her, it is like pulling teeth. She has a very condescending attitude towards other employees. She is knowledgable in her field and does her job well.

Alright so I was IM-ing (that's "instant messaging" for you old people hehehehe) my stepbrother and he was talking about his homework assignment for health class. I asked him what the assignment was. Then he says "hold on a sec. i need to help my stepdad". I'm like "k" (that's "okay" for you old people hehehehe).

Anyway he signs off a minute later. And he never returned and it's been two hours.

So tell me what you think happened to him? Be creative, but not dirty. Hehehehehe.

I have. Someone at work was talking about how her relative went to some foreign country and was tortured. Now, that's NOT funny, but I laughed nervously because it was so completely unexpected (it was incidental to what she was saying) and then was horrified by my own reaction immediately. Thankfully she didn't hold it against me. Anyone else?

I have always had teaching as a backup career in mind.
I love kids.
I also have wanted to be a chef, but the stresses of the kitchen environment scare me as compared to cooking at home.
I have people who are wanting me to be a teacher, and those who are wanting me to be a chef.
I am not sure what I want to do.
I don't want to be a chef and work in restaurants, but I don't want to dissappoint those who have faith in me for pursuing this career.
I want to stay close to God.
I want to do mission trips in Latin America.
I want to join the Peace Corps.
I want to have a family, and be there for my children
I want to get things right.

Help me see which desires are stronger than the others.
Enlighten me. Help me to figure this out.
