Okay, several months ago I had a dream, and I still can't stop thinking about it.
The dream struck me as odd becuase it had no relation to my life. Usually my dreams do. For example, I'll dream about an upcoming event that I'm anticipating, etc..

In this dream, however, I think I was in a feild or grassy lawn witih a friend (Don't know who).. We saw a helicopter and for some reason were watching it. As we watched, to our shock it started doing summersaults (Hovering in place and turning upside down, back upright, several times). I remember I was wondering if it was a stunt or a problem. The question seemed to be answered as we saw orange smoke coming from the chopper, then it started falling to the ground. We watched in horror as it headed for a busy interstate in our view, and I wondered if it was goign to grash on the interstate and wipe out dozens of cars, or if it would land on the side of the interstate. AS it appeared to crash on the side of the interstate, I woke up.

Would you try to change your behavior in the past? Tell yourself to make another career decision? Not to drink and drive? Not to do drugs? What would it be?

The fear of death is a very real thing. I will get over it soon but it popped into my thoughts recently and is gripping my heart like a vice. I want to live forever.

I was and still am, a bit of a heavy metal fan.
My musical tastes have changed over the years however, to something a little more eclectic.
I'd go through all the genres, but it'd take too long.

Recently though, I have discovered the birlliance that was Frédéric François Chopin. After listening to some of his peices, I became facinated by the man behind the music and i did a little delving into Wikipedia.
I was saddened to learn of his particular circumstances, dying at the very young age of 39 and the somewhat troubled life he had lived.
In contrast to that though was his ability to come up with such masterful works, beginning roughly at the age of 7.
His music, no matter how old, would live on for centuries it seems.

Now, my question is this. Where are the people for this century, the ones that will create masterpeices of musical genius??
When today's society is focus on quick-fix manufactured bands, has the originality died away for good, or simply shifted elsewhere?

I know this b/c my mother recently told me. I was sick b/c she was laughing about it.

When I was older, around 7 or 8, my older brother who was 12 at the time, sexually abused me.

When I was 9 my cousin sexually abused me.

I consider myself bi-sexual and have always had issues with feeling good about sex.

What effect could the abuse I went through as a child have on my sexuality? I have tried therapy but never got anywhere with it.

Thanks to all who respond...
