The fear of death is a very real thing. I will get over it soon but it popped into my thoughts recently and is gripping my heart like a vice. I want to live forever.

Death is like being born, there is alot of anticipation waiting for both and they are part of life. Once you've been around awhile you will come to accept death as part of life. Don't fear it, just prepare for it.

Religion aside, it is impossible to say if there is life after death. Do not get fooled by mediums. They will use general statements that could be true for anyone. Just like astrology. Cut out the individual daily horoscopes, mix them up, and you will see each one you pick would still be true for anyone. Back to what happens after death.

A body will decay and the gasses and solids will go on to give other life forms...well...life! So you see, in some ways you will keep on going!

Don't worry about dying just be cautious. My dad died when I was 11 (I'm 15 now) So it's strong on my mind too. I just think "what are the chances I'm going to die right now?" and it sometimes helps a little. I often think about getting rich andfinding some kind of regenerative qualities I could make my body and organs have so I could live forever too. You can believe what you want to about death but I believe it is the end of your concious mind.
