My daughters are 10 & 11 yrs old. On 12/26/06, they were trapped in a house fire at their paternal grandparents house. The 10 yrs old jumped out of a window, straight into fire and sustained 3rd degree burns on both her arms and a little on her face. The 11 yrs old was unconscious and had to be revived by the fire department. The grandfather unfortunately died of his burn injuries one month later.
QUESTION: We are trying to help them adjust. Sometimes I just don't know when they are "acting out" and being rude and disobedient if this part of the traumatization or being 10 and 11 yrs old??!! They are in therapy and have been alot in their little years (physical abuse, etc. from the father's side). I am just hopeing that some one can say something to me tonight to help me better, and more calmly deal with them. I love them dearly and only want the best. I don't want to be too hard on them; but neither do i want them to run-amuck!

Last November it became a crime for a woman to have an abortion in Nicaragua, even if her life was in mortal danger.

The Human Rights Watch reported that potentially the most harmful impact was that girls & women were afraid of seeking treatment for pregnancy-related complications, especially haemorrhaging, in case they were accused of having induced an abortion.

Doctors are unwilling to take risks on behalf of women who are often poor, uneducated and from a lower social class.

Last month an assembly vote on whether to uphold the law was an emotional and boisterous affair with dozens of girls & women in the public gallery chanting in protest. Separated by just a sheet of glass, the two sides were a study in contrasts. One comprised mostly elderly men in suits, some of whom opened their speeches by saying "I am a Catholic". The other comprised mostly young women in jeans and Tshirts. "Shame, shame, shame on you all," shouted one teen-ager.

Is this what's next for US women?

Why the open discussion of whether a person should be racist or sexist? We already know what people think about white men giving other white men jobs, and votes(in which I agree that the best person should have the job). So, why is it okay otherwise and socially accepted by the world reknown media?

"Be a woman, be a fan!"

Its played during pro football games to promote NFL clothes to women. Isn't that a bad ad campaign? What it is really saying IMO is "Be a fan girls- cause you know you can't play! All you can do is worry about fashion."
Agree? Disagree?

I was friends, close friends, with a depressed woman for about 10 years--then one day I woke up and realized that I was wasting my time on her. She never gave back: she just took, took, took. She was an emotional vampire. Do you chronically depressed people feel guilty when you act this way? Or are you so messed up you don't care--like a vampire? I'm just curious. I try to stay away from mentally ill people now. It's sad they're ill, but as friends, well: they suck. I'm still curious what a person like this thinks about that situation. Do they usually end up getting dumped as friends--which worsens the depression, or do they just go blithely along, unaware of the chaos they leave in their wake? Do tell, I am listening.

My problem is I keep getting to the point to soon, which is severely hindering, that coupled with the lack of definite information is frustrating. So does any one have any experience in this subject, also how can I make my paper longer. Thanks for any help

Man discovered fire burning in the caveman days but how did he harness it? It meant ways of starting fire such as sparks from flint on dry piles of grass. What is your opinion?

I have a knack for guessing what kind of person they re justs by looking at they're toes...

Like the big momma toe for example if it is slanted or curve I judge on it based upon the person

Just like the fingernails, if they are too straight then he/she must be sophisticated person. Overall it also helps examining the person's appearance and clothing/style to judge.

Have you heard anything similar from my example? or know anymore information about "how to read people"? just like the handshake, the tighter the grip on your hand from that person the bestest he is at trust, are these true at all?

3) a fairly good looking guy who looks like he's in his teens.

4) a not so good looking guy who looks like he's in his teens.

if any, which would you find the most flattering? explain.

Before hand: LycraSpandex, I don't mean any lack of respect, it is just that this comment really bewilders me:

"To me, being a in an area with a lot of feminists would be like being Jewish and being in an area around a lot of Nazis"

HOW could someone compare THIS???

I am completely at a loss. I haven't heard of feminists sending men to concentration camps!!

What the hell is going on ?????

I don't know...this category makes me feel that humans have no hope as long as people blame and talk like this.

soo. my mom told me about this dream she had..

she was in a bad relationship for like 15 years.. the last couple years consisted of her being miserable and depressed and abused.. trying to get rid of him.

so finally last august 06 she got rid of the guy and he stayed away..well not really. she pushed him away (they got 3 kids together)... anyways. so she finnally got rid of him.. and this past july 07 she got a restraining order and he went to jail and now he's wating to be sentenced.. so yeah hopefully he gets put away.

so she met this nice guy she likes and he likes her..

so she had this dream that she woke up and she was next to the new guy, and she went to go make breakfast and she came back with the food to kiss him.. and just at that moment he turned into the evil guy...

(sorry about the dragged out story, but i wanted to give some background info)

anyone know what it means?
i think she's got PTSD

Men will get equal rights to their children and shared parenting is the wave of the future and the most logical choice is automatic shared parenting by law.
PAS will be officially a real syndrome that is recognized dispite feminist bribery to silence the truth about mothers brain washing their children.
Women will be prosecuted and treated as a man would if she murders her husband and can't blame her hormones.
Women will be prosecuted for lying about being raped when it is a proven fact she was not.
I just wonder what will happen to the radical feminists when this happends. The moderates will change their stance to equalist and the radicals will probably go on a killing spree.
