Confidence is having faith in yourself that you can do what ever task is in front of you while arrogance is feeling that one might be better than the rest at something. Sometimes arrogance is blinding-it can harm even fatally at times. An Arabic saying says that "arrogance is that which grows on top of a dung hill." God did not creat us to be arrogant but humble and compassionate towards our fellow beings.

confidence is when your just happy to be who you are and your not going to let anyone get you down because you know that you like who you are and it's something that your not afraid to hide. arrogance is when your cocky and you really wont let people get to you because you think your simply better not because you know that you like who you are. arrogance is more how you feel that other people look at you, so you try to make yourself better to make people see that you are better than them. confidence is more about how you see yourself and the perspective you have of yourself.
