In the ancients times people went to temples in Egypt,Greece, Rome, seeking advice from their dreams, healing, special protection,and even conception of children do you think that their some truth to this????

I've always found this fascinating. The ancients would go to caves and temples or entomb themselves in cells for days and days waiting for a vision, answers, advice from their dreams. Some believed dreams were a connection with God, others believed the 'spiritual soul' left the body in dreams, to communicate with the dead. I believe in the power of dreams and I have learned so much about myself through my dreams without visiting a special place to get Divine guidance. Even so, I'd be happy to try it ... could be an interesting experience/experiment!!!

Yes! My mother is full-blooded Greek. I feel that certain, repetitive dreams should be considered "possible". In my life I have suffered through several traumatic accidents in which I almost died. I feel as though I had warnings through dreams. I know people have many explainations for this type of thing, but I believe what I believe. My Greek half family are very spiritual. The problem with my belief is there is no practical way to protect from an accident, if you could do that, it is no longer an accident. It then becomes a plot against you. You could waste any hope of happiness by being evasive to life.

yes I do believe there is much truth in our dreams. We do have to be careful though as all may not be as it seems when it comes to working out what they are telling us. Advice, healing or that special something of course is brought to us in our dreams, the important thing to remeber is these all come from the power that is within us all

Of course there was and is truth in these methods.You could read Raymond Moody´s book Reunions in which he gives details on how to construct your own psychomanteum as he calls it.

yes i do as i belivie in this sort thing so if they had that sort of thing going i would go as dreams say alot and do know what they mean would be of great help and and getting healing that can't be cured through medicince to would be great

Use to visit my mom where she's buried but it hurt too much. Now I just listen to music and find that place within me. Los Lobos usually takes me there.
