i had a debate with my enlgish teacher about lust today, he said it was a bad habit, and accused me of looking at other women while iwalked down the halls with my girlfriend. and i told him, that we as animals, feel lust naturally, and he said that we arnt animals but admitted to being mammals. he said that we are better and higher then animals... he's a joke...just let me know what you guys think...i wanna have some good info so i can kick his *** again in a debate...

The only difference between us an animals is intellect.
We naturally have lust for the other sex. We're programmed to seek the best mate for offspring.
Our intellect is what keeps us from doing this, because we know the gf is gonna get pissed.

Primarily an animal but a human is also more than an animal.Animals don't have the power of discrimination or differentiation ie to compare,consider pros and cons,select or reject ,apply mid course correction(to discard a selected thing and go for the next best) and intellectual applications.At times many people by their conduct make us think that they are like animals and therefore by extension,all humans should/could be animals.

humans are evolved animals but still have the same primal instincts as all other animals. As a male it is your natural instinct to spread your genes as much as possible to ensure the survival of your DNA without this drive species would die out.

Maybe he likes your gril friend, But really humans are set above the animals. We must think and act better or move to the jungle.

i think that your teacher shouldn't make those kind of comments to his students...unless he's kidding around or something.
