I have always been attracted to girls personalities. I only really like guys for looks, and i am sexually attracted to them. I could get turned on by seeing a guy nude, but not a girl. Only i am falling head over heels for my best friend who is also a girl like me. Its been this way for two years. I know its more than friendship but shes had plenty of boyfriends. She hasnt dated in a while because most of the guys were jerks but sometimes i think she might be bi too. She told me she has a secret that would make me and my friends think differently of her. I asked if it was something she did and she said no, it wasnt like that. She said it was something that would make us look at her in disgust. She said she really wanted to say what it was but it was best if she didnt because it would make situations with her and me and my friends awkward after that. What do you think the secret is and what should i do about all this? She said she'd say it when the time is right but i think thats never

Sometimes I find myself anticipating too much on things. Like for example, I really want to hang out with this amazing guy this weekend or something, and I feel like I put too much pressure on myself to make it happen. I want to just sit back, relax, and let time come and do it's thing, and what happens, happens. But I feel like I'm wasting time and I just want what I want, if that makes sense. It's like I work too hard to make things happen. How can I put more faith in myself to just trust that all these good things will happen, and to stop anticipating and being anxious for the future????? Anyone else have this problem?
thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

It's where I'm still a virgin, but I am giving birth to a child. Sometimes it is a boy & sometimes it is a girl. The birth is always quick & painless & the baby seems to "slip" out. I am just a 16-year-old student, so I know that in real life my parents would be very dissappointed in me for having a baby at such a young age, but it the dream, all of my family, even my relatives are happy for me & they throw a baby shower for me. Another thing that is wierd is that I am a caramel skinned-hispanic-asian, but when my baby is born, it is always light-skinned with big blue eyes & either blonde, or light orange hair. I even remembered that one time I had the dream, it was a girl, & I named her Aaliyah Mia. I would never name my kid that in real life. I've been having this dream on & off for about 3 years, but especially in the last few months. What could it mean?

i'm really tired of being shy. all the girls who say they think shyness is cute only think that when it's a guy with an innocent boylike apppearance. i don't have that so i am probably just seen as boring, dull, and lacking in confidence. it really isn't fair.

is there a way to stop being shy? i've heard somewhere that some people are just naturally shy. is that true? is it possible that i am just naturally like this and can't change?

I have been thinking about trying to wake up from a dream but I have either done the "do it tomorrow routine" or my dreams have controlled it.I am sure if some expert could tell us what actually happens to our minds when we sleep I am sure it would be easier. Is it true that if you think about something hard enough you dream about it?I have had the most random dreams lately.

Why is it that a person who has good attributes (good-looking, smart, funny, etc.) is confident and acknowledges that they have those good attributes is almost always considered conceited? Would it be better if they walked around with their head down and be ashamed of what they have?

Whats the difference? I myself am quiet until I get to know you. I hate social situation I feel uncomfortable, surly that doesn't mean I have social anxiety? I just don't like social situations, being brought up an only child I am more used to my own company and find it more comfortable, Its the same with Generalised Anxiety Disorder, am I avoiding a situation because I feel anxious or do I just not want to go, Where do you draw the line?

They say if you have to drink alcohol in social situations to feel comfortable you may have social anxiety, I mean everyone I know drinks in social situation to feel comfortable.

I'm confussed, define what social anxiety is and what Shyness is? My Psychologist put this into my head today, I am attending her for Generalised Anxiety Disorder.

I have been so stressed out for the past few months and I think I am depressed or something. I have really bad mood swing and it is affecting my work and relationship. I have a 4 month old and after a month of breast feeding I stopped and started birth control. LAst month, I stopped taking the pills in the middle to help regulate my period, so now it seems to be late. I hardly ever have sex and when we do it is protected. I think the stress is going wild. I keep getting sick and have severe mood swings. I lost a little weight, not a lot. I cry everyday. Life is just so hard. I don't know how to take this anymore and I get these feelings that I want to hurt myself severely. I have tried to deal with this stress. I have taken walks to cool down, I have written my feelings down, I have tried to relax and breath and count...nothing is working and I am going insane. I need some advice. What can I do to really chill out? I need smart answers cause I am really messed up and losing it. PLease

.... intelligent and technologically capable animal species?

In other words, could evolution, on any given planet, have resulted in the simultaneous coexistence of two (or more) completely different, but equally self-conscious, intelligent and technologically capable species, living side by side?

... Or would they have tried to kill each other off - the case of the Neanderthals, for instance, is as close an analogy as I can think of in the human case. Although the Neanderthal was NOT a “completely” different species and chances are that they have even been partly absorbed into the modern human race to some extent. … So in answering the question PLEASE do NOT concentrate on the Neanderthals’ case, I merely used that as an analogy. Thanks for your comments.
