They have asked 1000s of questions all in conflict with police opinion. How can these people be considered sane?

Of course not, but there are many psychologically disturbed people who have "commented " 1000s of times in Yahoo Answers clearly showing their mental state. To be so "antiMcCann " with no real proof and distorting the information, even repeatedly lying and nearly always ridiculing is nutcase stuff.

Psychologically disturbed people often have very strong opinions. They seldom have an open mind. BUT...... having said that, they are not necessarily trustworthy opinions. More often than not they border on the OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). I feel the McCanns have almost reached this OCD stage. The search for the truth has become obsessive. Instead they should go home and try and look after the twins as loving prents. The twins surely need their parents attention. THEY also must feel the loss of a lovely sister. Let's hope the case comes to an early conclusion with the DNA result from the lab in the UK.

I cannot understand why people are still speculating over this case, i mean it happened over two months ago and the whole thing has turned into a media circus. Yes it is a sorry state of affairs and i'm sure the McCanns are having a terrible time being flown all over the world in the search for their missing daughter.

I would say that the people who do keep an open mind over this case are just overdosing on the bullshit that they are being spoonfed through the media. Its all propaganda at the end of the day, a way of controlling the public through fear and confusion, making people question there own common sense.

I'm very sorry but,,,,,,
She's been missing far too long to be found alive people, get over it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion - even the police. But until they back it up with hard evidence, I am keeping an open mind - I think that is the only fair and sane way to deal with it!
Those who are ready to condemn the McCanns based on malicious tittle tattle are the ones who are psychologically disturbed!

I'm sure some psychologically disturbed people don't keep an open mind about the McCann case!

I have to wonder about how many of the McCann questions you have asked. Quite a few of the 1000's of questions are made up of some of yours and like minded people.

The term popular psychology (frequently called pop psychology or pop psych), refers to concepts and theories about human mental life and behaviour that are purportedly based on psychology and that attain popularity amongst the general population.

The term is often derogatory, used to describe psychological concepts that are oversimplified, out of date, unproven, misunderstood or misinterpreted; however, the term may also be used to describe professionally-produced psychological knowledge, regarded by most experts as valid and effective, that is intended for use by the general public.

No sound in the world sounds like a mind slamming shut, makes me kinda wonder if reporting anything to the Police is worth it if you are the going to be the main suspect for raising the alarm.

There are people who obsess over the McCanns and people who obsess over people who obsess over the McCanns. If you're right, there must be quite a bit of insanity of this website.

There is an inconvenient thing called evidence. Sometimes we think we have evidence only to find we are barking up the wrong tree. So until there is conclusive evidence an open mind must be maintained. Do not come back with newspaper reports, these are not evidence.
