Name some religions (ancient ones, etc) other than Christianity and Islam that say you'll be condemned forever unless you do and believe as their founders say.

No one has ever been able to adequately explain this to me. Anything above 60°F gets uncomfortable to me and anything beyond 80 becomes increasingly painful, yet I've heard people say they "like" it that way. Is it the same reason some people are into masochism or is it literally a pleasant sensation to them? I've never understood.

In my engineering class, we had to pick team leaders. Everyone didn't want to be one, so they put it one me. Now everyday my engineering teacher asks every team leader to stand up in front of the class and say a certain thing (e.g. problem solving methods). It's been 3 days and everyday i fear that someone is going to laugh at me. I want to overcome this, because if I force someone else to be team leader then everyone will think i am mean. What should I do??

Is it possible for someone with an addictive personality to actually give up ALL addictions? I have met many people over the years (and even been in love with some) that have had horrible addictions to drugs, alchohol, etc. When they stop doing one addiction, they replace it with another like sex, working out, food, etc.

This is so strange but true, that it's laughable and sad. It seems right to me, but I wonder what others think.

What is your reaction to this word, both males and females?

"Obviously the word "*****" is not only being used by young America but by people of all types. It is being freely used in television programs, on the radio and in publications. Even though the Federal Communications Commission does have “decency” standards regulating what can be broadcast – indecent material must not be aired from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. when it is likely that children may be watching, and obscene and profane material must never be aired – derogatory language that targets women isn’t filtered out. The FCC has defined broadcast indecency as “language or material that, in context, depicts or describes, in terms patently offensive as measured by contemporary community standards for the broadcast medium, sexual or excretory organs or activities.” But apparently, the b word is not considered “offensive as measured by contemporary community standards.”

Usally, I am hiding or being chased by someone who is trying to kill me. Sometimes it's snakes or other viscious animals. I tend to get wounded in my dreams but I never die. I have some variation of this dream often.

Don't you think that anykind of reform is in a way or another a kind of brain washing.

What is truth? What is fact?
truth is variable from time to time, isn't it?

Should a person abide to the truths and facts of the sorrounding society? and if they don't convince him should he/she rebel against it and how can he/she survive in such society if he rebels against it?

I have a friend who had this weird dream(she's 40). Do you have a dream interpetation book? What do you think it means?

--I had a weird dream the other night about being on some sort of University campus and being unable to climb a spiraling set of stairs because they kept moving. I remember in the dream trying to take another route and when I opened the door to try to access some elevators the floor was wishy washy, not solid.

Don't get me wrong. I think that all brutal dictators and serial killers are monsters. However, when I sometimes hear about their early experiences, I find myself pitying them. For example, I heard that Saddam Hussein's mother tried to miscarry him when she was pregnant. Also, Adolf Hitler's father was abusive. Not only that, but Gary Ridgway still wet the bed when he was past a certain age and his mother would afterwards clean his genitals in a strangely intense manner. All that being said, though, their experiences don't excuse their behavior and there are plenty of people who have experienced worse who didn't turn into monsters.
