Im from Europe and anthropology here has a different focus than in the USA. We have social and cultural anthropology which deals with present day issues. Archeology is a different study.
Im graduating in medical anthropology (MA). Think of cultural aspects in health care. Like intra-cultural psychiatry. I find it very fascinating. Like how what is called mental illness in one culture is called spirit possession in another..
About websites, try some universities they may have links. If you want to know more about it try a good library or order some books!
