It represents your fear of getting older.
Gray indicates fear, fright, depression, ill health, ambivalence and confusion. You may feel emotionally distant or detached

To dream that your hair is white or turns white, indicates that something important has just been made aware to you. It is a symbol of wisdom and insight. The dream may also be a metaphor suggesting that you are feeling "light-headed".

To see hair in your dream, signifies sexual virility, seduction, sensuality, vanity, and health. It is indicative of your attitudes. If your hair is knotted or tangled, then it is symbolic of uncertainty and confusion in your life. You may be unable to think straight. If the wind is blowing through your hair, then it signifies freedom to express uninhibited feelings. You are "letting your hair down".

Good Luck

It is just a dream. Dreams obviously do not have any symbolic meaning, why would they.. it is a stupid idea, akin the supernatural and mind reading. We are all different from each other, we all experience and interupt the world in different ways. But dreams can represent some internal struggle with yourself, perhaps some underlying fear or need that is powerful enough to represent itself visually in the form of your imagination during your sleep.

I sometimes dream that I'm about to take some kind of exam for which I haven't prepared myself.... failing an exam is a deep rooted fear of mine. Why? Maybe because of a fear of failure or perhaps because of a fear of the unknown. Or perhaps I had a really nasty teacher when I was growing up who use to humiliate her students. :-)

This is only speculation but perhaps you are afraid of getting old and this has somewhow manifested itself in your dreams.

Nobody in this world can tell you what your dreams mean except you, because nobody knows you better than yourself.

You just have to be honest with yourself and in your interpretation of your dream. So if you do fear getting old then ask yourself the question why.. perhaps it has something to do with not achieving your goals yet and running out of time... loosing your looks and appearing less attractive to your partner... fear of dying or being infirmed?

I think you are the type that is afraid of getting older.

It's normal, even if you don't think about getting older yourself.
That kind of stuff gets involved in your dream, and then you dream your most stupid fears, or the most stupid fun.

Your mind is messing with reality.
