I have a friend who had this weird dream(she's 40). Do you have a dream interpetation book? What do you think it means?

--I had a weird dream the other night about being on some sort of University campus and being unable to climb a spiraling set of stairs because they kept moving. I remember in the dream trying to take another route and when I opened the door to try to access some elevators the floor was wishy washy, not solid.

To dream that you are in college, indicates that you are going through some social or cultural changes. You may be wanting to expand your knowledge and awareness. It also suggest that now is a good time for you to experiment and try new things. If you had gone to college in your past, then also consider your personal experiences and memories of your college days. However, if you are currently in college, then it may be a reflection of your current surroundings. It may also represent stress.

To see spiral or winding stairs, signify growth and/or rebirth

To dream that you are entering through a door, signifies new opportunities that will be presented before you. You are entering into a new stage in your life and moving from one level of consciousness to another. In particular, a door that opens to the outside, signifies your need to be more accessible to others, whereas a door that opens into the inside, denotes your desire for inner exploration and self-discovery.

To see opened doors in your dream, symbolizes your receptiveness and willingness to accept new ideas/concepts. In particular, to see a light behind it suggests that you are moving toward greater enlightenment/spirituality.

To see the floor in your dream, represents your support. It may also represent the division between the unconscious and conscious.

Good Luck

Stairs shows that there is a way to get up to higher social position but your friend just couldn't do it. Maybe in her life she can see an opportunity which is difficult (spiraling stairs) and she can't move on. She tries to find other way but then she realizes that this can damage the position she already has Elevators not solid).

I think the stairs represent a challenge in life. Not just any challenge, but a life changing challenge. She looks for another way to deal with the "problem". This is a very good sign. It means she doesn't give up even when things seem to be against her.
Or it can be something simpler...She watching too much Harry Potter. (Moving stair cases).

The dream means great disappointment in career. An achievement/promotion that she had hoped for will not come about.

First thing that popped into my head was someone trying so hard to please someone else and no matter how hard they tried nothing, absolutely nothing worked.
