I HAVE TRAVELED THE COUNTRY IN A CAR DOING BACK-BREAKING LABOR FOR MIN. WAGE. IT TOOK TWO DAYS TO REALIZE THAT I DIDN'T EVEN RATE THE STATUS OF SECOND-CLASS CITIZEN. I WAS VULNERABLE. I WAS CAUGHT IN FLOODS, TORNADOES AND ACTS OF VIOLENCE. GOING TO A SHELTER MAY HAVE SAVED MY LIFE, BUT THAT WAS ANOTHER TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. GETTING STEADY WORK HELPED ME TO REGAIN A LIFE WORTH LIVING. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THE LIFESTYLE OF A TRANSIENT TO ANYONE.

Unfortunately, there are many in this world who don't have that nice, warm home to sneak back to.
