umm that is an odd question but i am curious

My neighbor just now filed for divorce after being abused by her husband for 9 years! Why do women stay with their abusive husbands? If my partner ever seriously abused me, and continued to do so, I'd be filing for divorce as soon as possible.

Is it have to do with a feeling of insecurity if they left? A feeling of embarrassment and shame for themselves having to move back with their parents for a while? What? I just don't understand the logic?

I know that every one is sensitive to a certain degree, but I have noticed that Virgo-born people are oversensitive, and highly analytical.

This person goes out of their way, puts them self to work to make your life a living hell. Literally, nothing they do is for a reason besides to ruin your life. Do you know someone like this?

I am 16, I often have panic attacks where I feel totally out of control and black out, I usually shout out No. These usually occur when I think about death and that there will be nothing more of me, is there a way to feel in control and have peace of mind, or do I just have to suffer for the rest of my little life?

Has any man on here actually been so scared of being hurt that they ended a potentially great relationship early? Most people always see it as an excuse to end the relationship. One hears that people can become so afraid that they end things thinking that the other person is going to hurt them. They take feelings of hurt from past relationships into the new ones and prepare for the hurt. Once they start prepping for the hurt, they get scared and leave. A pre-emptive dump??? If it is true that you men can get so scared, would anyone who has felt this please post your reasons for doing something like this (leaving a great relationship early with someone you really like). You hear about this so much and I was curious to understand it better.

Materialistically speaking, I mean. When we want something, we can lust over it, we feel like we really want it, and we must have it. Then when we get it, we're happy at first, but slowly it fades, and eventually it's just like, yea, I have it, it's not really that great.

Why is the want greater then the have?

is even a fraction as high as the incidence of men *encouraging* and attempting to influence their girlfriend to HAVE an abortion that she doesn't necessarily want?

I have never, in my own experience, known a man who desperately wanted his partner to have the baby she was determined to abort. I have never known a man to want to "veto" his girlfriend's abortion. I HAVE known cases in which boyfriends attempted to persuade their partner to have an abortion when she didn't want one. Do you think men desperately wanting their baby are even half as common as men trying to influence their partner to have an abortion against her will? From the looks on this forum of the mass male indignation over not being able to control those murderous irresponsible women's bodies, you'd think men were so angelic that they would never ask a woman to abort their baby. In fact, I'm almost certain that they do so MORE often than they request to keep their babies.

Isn't it the Bill Gates and Oprah Winfreys of America buying $50 bottles of water that make some people so poor? I don't fully understand the way the economic system works. But doesn't this throw the rest of people out of balance for their to be all these business tycoons out there?
