What do you do to keep yourself strong?

If you figure it out let me know. I've tried thinking about all the people who care about me, focusing on my best memories in my darkest hours, but after 12 years of constant physical pain I'm about worn out. Fibromyalgia sucks. Somehow I'm still going, but often I just don't know why. I guess we just do what we must. Hopefully you do not have an incurable disease that tortures you every moment of your life. So perhaps your life will get better. Don't mistake a tunnel for a bottomless pit. Endure that which can be endured and you can outlast your troubles. I don't have that luxury. But best of luck to you.

Life for me goes well,
because I would not do something that my
heart tells me not to do.

Sometimes life does get too shattered, e
verything is coming at you, the bank balance is disappointing, the cars needs fixing, the cat pooed on my shoes,
I have learnt to take a breathe, several if it looks over the top, and take a step at a time and clear the way.

To keep strong in this world,
one needs to have a value system,
be strong to that and move through whatever presents itself.

To strengthen myself when I have let myself down and allow "stuff" in that should be "not mine" I take a breathe, realise what it is I have done,
no shame or blame,
then either,
take a shower, this is very good for clearing the energy field around you,
change my clothes, this is like a new me now thing,
put on my kick *** boots, and go for a brisk walk,
or clean the house.
Shower again, change clothes and all is released.
Remind myself of my values,
and make promise to my body to not let that happen again.

"May every wound bring wisdom
and every trial bring triumph and with each passing day,
May you live more abundantly than the day before.
May you be blessed and
may others be blessed by you.
This is my heartfelt wish for you"

Blessings to you

i write. I'm not much of a writer but I feel when I write things down they make me feel better. I'll do that before I usualy go to bed and during the day i'll do activities to occupy myself like hang out with friends, go shopping, watch tv. anything but sit around doing nothing. I avoid complete silence cuz that would just make me think about everything more. hope it helped a bit. good luck.

First I give up. What is wrong with giving up. Now, I have nothing to lose and the world is my oyster. The more I gain, ( a wife, a home, a career, a future), I always know that I have nothing to lose and I can give up at any time.

Sometimes you have to walk away from all the problems, don't look back and start brand new....

vent.... let it out; chalk it up as a loss or a lesson, (for that person or myself) readjust priorities, stay focused and keep on going................
