I live in tragedy. My daughter and I were best friends; when she was a child; we were appropriately parent and child. We got along so well; everyone commented on how much we loved each other, what a happy and great family we were.

After her wedding fell through, we became even closer--for two years. Then one day she turned on me--just like that! I was in shock and asked her what happened, "I thought we were doing well." Her answer was a sarcastic "You're great in a crisis."

She was about 30 by this time, and had never talked "mean" to me before. Everything got worse, until now I am no longer "welcome" in her life--and that means the life of my grandson, as well. It is a fate worse than death for me.

My son is baffled. She won't explain herself. Before the final banishment, she was verbally cruel, and one night lost her temper so badly she started bashing me. (Note, I never hit either of my children.)

I fear it's the medication she's on. SSRI's can cause violence.

Does anyone have any dream interpretation skills? For two nights now I have dreamed of bugs in my hair. I mean a LOT of bugs, I could see them everywhere, and no one would help me get rid of them. I kept trying to get rid of them on my own but I couldn't. There were ticks as big as my thumb, and all sorts of blood sucking parasites. Any ideas would be intresting to see.

I have been working at a my new job for a few months now. Everything was going great until one of my co-workers started going through a difficult time in her personal life. She has had some tragic events take place and is having a hard time dealing with it. She has been taking out her anger and greif on people she works with. She tries to get people in trouble and feels free to yell at anyone who does not do what she says when she says to do it. She has been very sensitive and aggresive. I recently saw her messing with a co-workers desk. It looked like she was trying to spit on her desk! I was so shocked I didn't know what to do. To make matters worse their were customers in our lobby within few of the whole thing. I decided to talk to HR about it and they notified my boss. Now we are having a meeting to address the issue. No one wants to come forward because they don't think it will solve anything. How can I be a part of the solution without being the bad guy who told?

I'm just curious.
I mean, I would like to live in the "Harry Potter" world because there's magic and so many things and opportunities you can do!
On the other hand, I would also like to live as some sort of animal even if i have the danger of being prey to other animals because at least I dont have human stress from bills and taxes and such!!!
Or do you enjoy your life the way it is? how would u like to change it?
Also I think people should be who they want to be, not someone they are forced to be

Today I saw a tramp with a huge beard doing air guitar in the street and there was this guy on the bus who was dressed all in black, bald, with headphones and glasses, and in each hand a bottle of Mr Muscle detergent spray. He looked like some kind of surreal futuristic action-hero lol!

My parents bear witness to the fact that I have Asperger Syndrome, and for just over 30 years of my life have never made any real friends. I've had 3 or 4 girls that I PERCEIVED to be girlfriends, but they never lasted more than a few months, and each of them had some or other problem. People in my church seem to have their own cliques, and nobody has ever as much as invited me out for a cup of coffee, or phoned me up to say they were thinking about me for the past week and were checking up on me.

Are they just plain heartless, or do I need to be put in an Asperger Syndrome group where "birds of a feather flock together" and start our own "secret society" where I would receive more understanding and acceptance?

I've recently started reading a book called "Darwin's Children", which is about how years from now, children start being born with a "virus" that gives them higher abilities. People consider it the next stage of evolution, and naturally people are afraid of these kids, consider them mutants, etc.

If one year everything seemed to change and kids started being born with abilities that gave them "psychic powers", made them faster than the rest of us, smarter, etc, what do you think would happen? Do you think paranoia would ensue? Would people be terrified of them as they are of the mutants in X-Men? Lol! I think people might harbor prejudices against them as we do people of different cultures, races, etc, nowadays, because they are so different than us. It's an interesting question.

It also reminds me of the "Indigo Children" phenomenon that I read about a couple of years ago while researching a paper on alternative spirituality. Supposedly they are "Children of the New Earth"...?
