Is there a specific amount of time that deja vu lasts on average? is it normally long or short..?

Does it have any relation to phychic?

I've had it last like a quick flash of only a couple seconds. Sometimes it lasts a couple minutes. Once it lasted about half an hour, when we were looking at houses when we were in the market to buy one. It lasted the entire time we toured one particular house.

A psychic sees the future. Deja vu on the other hand is a fleeting moment where you sense you have been somewhere before. That really isn't even related to memory. There are 3 types of memory:sensory; seeing an accident but forgetting the details soon after (can be released in hypnosis) , short term memory; Is a memory that has been considered long enough to remember in short term memory; and long term memory are the memories that last throughout the years. (sensory memory affects all senses)

Not dumb. But for some people it's short, some it's long, and some are variable. I'm mostly short but when I'm with friends then I snap out of it more quickly. But it could be long depending on how powerful it is, and by powerful I mean the complexity of the Deja Vu.

Have no idea. Mine are usually short. Sometimes they come like 5-7 times a day but still short.

usually its short. deja vu is nothing more than the information going into you long term memory as it hapens so you think you've seen it before. interesting huh.

Its not dumb, you obviously haven't had a "deja vue" experience. It can last a moment, it can come and go in a certain place, or conversation.

mine can last long enough for me to recognize its deja vu, and try and "predict" whats going to happen next, which is pretty cool if i get it lol

Its usually less than 20 sec and can be as short as 3 secs. It's Kewl when it happens.
