you could go to meetings, read and work the proverbs, self help books ect... but are the "nuts and bolts" of all these different methods basically the same? Dont they all get you to start focusing outwardly instead of the inward way you were focusing?,,,,,self loathing, the key word is "self".

I asked this question a long time ago, but no one had the right answer, but now I'm asking again cause it bugs me. Someone said that my brain mistakes my own presence as someone else, and I think that might be it, cause whenever I'm laying down and I feel someone there, I concentrate and find that the person I felt was there was my feet....yet I still feel like someone is there.

To describe what it's like....it doesn't happen often, maybe once a day or something. Whether it'd be sitting, laying down, standing, whatever, sometimes I feel like someone's standing to the sides or behind me. I don't hear/see anything, but I get a really strong feeling that someone is there.
After experiencing this, I walk along the walls of my house, side stepping so that I can see in both directions with my periphials.

I'm 13, and I do watch scary movies, but I know that's not it since after scary movies, I picture the scary image in my head, rather than the paranoid shadow image I get radomly

If you are a bit lazy, passive, and unambitious, is there a way to change? That is, if your philosopy is "let it be," will it ever be "seize the day?" Or should it be?

It seems like every other post is some 12 or 14 year old girl talking about how fat or ugly she is, and how she needs to lose weight, and will only have friends if she's pretty.
I've answered a few of them, but it's like they just keep popping up again and again, and now I don't feel like I have the energy to care about them anymore.
It's so incredibly tragic.
It makes me want to quit yahoo answers all together, because there's no possible to way to really help these girls. This problem is already to ingrained into their psyches. No amount of posts will change their minds.

This wasn't really a question; I just wanted to address how upset this makes me.

I don't usually blame "society" for things... it always seems like a cop-out to me. But seeing all these questions has made me realize that there really is something very very wrong happening here.
So what can we do to fix it? (I guess that's the question)

Ok ladies I know this question has to have been asked before, but i didn't see the answers... Why are there men asking questions in this catagory? Wait I said that wrong why are ther men like say Jackel or whatever the hell his name is, men like him. Don't they have better things to do than bash us women. I love the fellas who are on here asking and answering the questions with honesty... but whats up with the others, I mean come on have they nothing better to do with there lifes than to try to trash us on here. I know they are to STUPID to answer questions like news or current events. Is that what it is? Because to tell you the truth that is what I tend to believe! They all sound like a bunch of 8th graders... I thought this fourm was for adults be them young or old with somewhat of a functioning brain cell. Tell me if I'm wrong

Where in the world did this statistic come from?

I personally don't know any females so selfish as to do that. I myself find that deplorable, since I hate cheaters and freeloaders, and I would rather EARN my own money through work.

My dream:
I opened my mans closet door and there was a tarantula crawling on an outfit thrown on the floor of the closet. The closet was messier than normal. I jumped back when I saw the spider, scared but did not scream. I looked around and quickly remembered I was alone. My heart was racing, and I felt unsafe, but didn't have a feeling that the spider would hurt me, I did not attempt to kill it. The End.

The situation:
Wierd thing was, the tarantula was crawling on the outfit he happened to be wearing at the time. I was home alone, and he was gone hanging with friends. I was aware of this.
Can anyone put this into prespective and define it for me? Please help.

Most seem to regard their mere presence in a man's life as enugh of a gift, they act like they never have to lift a finger to please the guy.

Many more screw anything that moves then wonder why no guy wants to marry them.

Lots of women seem to love to pick fights with their men. Why would ANY sane guy want to marry any woman just to be rewarded with constant fighting about feminism or other useless topics.

Seriously, any women out there who take responsibility for their lives, do not burden men with their issues, who understand that life and love is give and take?
