Why do young people accept second-rate treatment from older people? I am an older person and I am here to tell you that you don't stuff things up all the time.
You are kind and generous and not always thinking of yourselves.
Your contribution to this world is precious
You will succeed and do yourselves proud
I am sick and tired of the bagging that goes on against young people. You have stuff to learn? Well guess what? So does everybody. From one old fart comes this message - you go kids! You just keep being yourselves. You have flaws like everybody but you'll do me fine!!!

I have two friends on anti-depressants, one being a survivor of childhood abuse. Last year I had to shoulder my friend's emotions whilst she told her mum, told the police, gave a statement, got put on 30mg prozac and got a counsellor/psychologist. I was the first person who worked it out after she spoke to me, and I still feel bad about it now. She asked me to tell our other two close friends about it, so it wouldn't be the huge secret it had been for her. Telling other friends made it a bit harder for me, but I couldn't complain. Even now, when my friend is still on pills, I can't help feeling like she's not good for my mental health, despite her also being great fun and whatnot. The whole experience had me really anxious and nervous, now I still press the tips of my fingers one after the other repeatedly and chew my face, I crack my knuckles and can make quite a mess of my hands when I go at it. How can I sort myself out so I can be there for her in the future, and simply be happier?

I have developed a truly weak mind after my clinical depression. My grades have dropped, my anxiety is always there, and I feel like a failure at everything. I have had 5 jobs in the past 9 months. My weak mind consists in always doubting myself. For example, when someone gives me advise, I feel I have to follow it. If I want to take a summer course, and I ask people what they think, I end up not taking the course because they have told me to enjoy my summer. If I want to lose some weight and someone tells me not to, I won't do it. I am 24 years old....I should not be thinking like a child but i can't help it. I I always think negative. What can I do? Do I need therapy?

I think some people who get to close emotionally and talk to there female or male friends and seem to share so readily with them than they do with the one they say they love most to me this is cheating on a higher laveal than just having sex.

I've lied and cheated my whole life, and never been caught. But it's began to make me feel like everyone is doing to me what I do to them. It's a lesson I'd rather not learn, condidering my job is mainly to lie my *** off to people.. what can I do to restore my trust in others, without breaking my chain of deciet.

I feel torn, please help! Complicated!?
My mom and my aunts and uncles are fighting over inheritance and stuff that happened years ago. The three of them of the four get along good but my mom is sueing them over dumb issues and instigating things. I love my aunts uncles and cousins and want to continue a relationship with them and I don't see why not becasue they are nice to me too. They are acting mature about it all. My uncle invited me to his wedding and my mom got wind of it and is trying to guilt me out of going. Shouldn't that be her dispute with them and I should not be a part of it? I am 29. My Aunts and Uncles treat me like an adult and keep me out of it, mom does not. What should I do?

Why do you worry, and about what? Do you like to worry?

What do you fear, and why? Do you like being afraid?

Maybe you think this is a stupid question, but stop for a moment and think about it, why are you afraid, why do you worry?
