sure you can. no matter who/how you are, if you make someone laugh a lot, they will automatically start laughing every time you meet again or even if they are reminded of you because in the back of their mind, they think of you as a very funny person, thinking you will make them laugh again soon.

No, I don't agree. I've known lots of people who were very funny, but not very confident. I've known even more that were confident, but not very funny. If you can be both, then great! But they are not required together.
As far as building confidence... no one is confident ALL the time. You have to work your way up to it. Take one step at a time. Start by doing things you are good at, then start to take some risks. Get some experience. Get out there and do things. The more you do and the more you succeed at, the more confident you will get. If you absolutely can't do it, then I suggest getting some counseling. Good luck!

It is nice when the two go together, but it does not occur very often. There are plenty of people who are confident that are not funny, in fact they can be quite an ***. At the same time there are lots of funny people who are quite neurotic and not confident at all. Don't compare yourself to others. Your strength may not be outward, but inward. You are probably someone who is a loyal friend, quick to comfort and help. You might be good a keeping a secret and probably love very deeply. I'd take that over confidence and humor any day.

Having a good sense of humor is one of the most important assets to possess. If you can't laugh at yourself and see humor in our faults, life gets depressing. Someone who has low self-worth cannot be confident. They cancel each other out. The only way to have real confidence and esteem is to understand that we are all human and to accept yourself as a whole. Good and bad qualities need to be embraced to truly accept yourself and in turn possess confidence.

sounds good to me...some times I feel alot more confident than other times ..in general when you feel good about your self and you don't let the other people around you decide you worth for you that you will develop self worth if you measure your self worth on how other people look at you or talk to you then it's actually not your self worth it the value that you allow them to give you..don't let them do that to you it's not fair to allow someone decide your self worth

We are all born with certain talents and traits. Find your strength. Don't say you want to be funny, then you try to be funny. You will flop. If you're funny, you will be naturally funny. Believe me when I saw we all have strenghts,
