Showing affection for someone goes beyond a hug or a kiss I think. It means taking the other persons feelings into account and putting their wants and needs before your own sometimes. Also listening to the person when they need to talk and being there for them when they need someone. There are so many ways to show your affection for someone else. I think the main thing is to be thoughtful of them and their feelings.

Smiling, bringing things home from the store that I know they like (favorite cookies or juice), putting a note in someone's lunch. Physical things like hugging, kissing, and touching, too.
