The only thing it would change is that I would think more positive thoughts about them. Like some people would pray for someone, I send positive thoughts for people. I guess I might have a greater level of respect, too. It's tough enough for me to get through life with no chronic illness; I don't know how some people manage so well with what they have to shoulder.

Otherwise, it wouldn't change my opinion in any way.

i would if they slept around and did drugs because that shows how irresponsible they are. But if they were just having fun witha partner and it was a mistake i would think of them the same person. They are still the same person on the inside. An if they are your friend, thats when they would need u the most, to find out they have aids.

NO, would finding out someone has asthma, diabetes or cancer change your opinion of them. People that contract HIV/AIDS in this day and age generally do so from unprotected sex, careless use of needles. Smokers get Lung cancer. Sometimes things just happen to people. It is still disease no matter who what why or how it happens or whose fault it is

Yes, if I knew they contracted by either doing drugs or sleeping around. I would see them as irresponsible and immoral. I know I shouldn't judge, but I wouldn't want to be around with someone who has these traits.

No, it wouldn't change my opinion of them. I would feel bad for them that they are going through such a terrible thing, but it wouldn't make me feel any different about them.
