I get bored of people very easily. I can stand only very few folks- my family, and a couple of close friends for a longer time. I cannot stand boring conversation, and I think that sows on my face, as I recently found out. (One person actually asked if I were bored.) I cannot tolerate small talk.

In short, I want to have meaningful conversations, not silly, frivolous boring stuff about this actor's love life, and the neighbour's somestic affairs!

The problem is, as I said, I think without meaning to, I show my feelings on my face. I've tried and tried to stop it, but I think it still somehow shows... I don't want to be rude, and I dont want to hurt anybody.

Ideas? (Short of cosmetic surgery....)

Recently my family dog died. It ran out into our woods and got torn up by something pretty bad. I saw my dog run into the woods, it was dark so it instantly dissapeared. Next thing I hear is this awful yelp. I knew my dog was in trouble but i wasn't about to risk my neck for an animal. About 5 minutes later my dog reappeared. When it saw me it tried to run away but couldn't. It was alot slower then it usually is. It had an awkward limp. As I approached it i noticed blood. I carried it inside, got my mother and treated it wounds the best we could. My mom said she was going to take it to the vet the next morning. The next morning I didn't see the dog so I assumed it was safe and sound at the vet. My sister broke into tears telling me that it had died. I quickly noticed that I didn't care. My mom cared, sister cared....but i didn't. It was just a mutt without a soul, Its death made no difference to me. Lastly, im mad at my mom for making such a big deal of it.

Is it truly about equality and respect forwomen in society or more as a movement of angry women who feel life has delalt them a bad hand, like being short fat ugly or lesbian. I don't know for sure.Don't mean to be a chavinist. But could Rush Limbaugh actually be on to something for once?

I'm not trying to be offensive, but I've always wondered about it and never understood how this system became legal. To me personally this rule represents another form of discrimination and misogyny. It's society is trying to accentuate yet again women's inferiority even through the smallest things.

Everytime I do anything, I feel so POINTLESS. For example, if I get an A on my report card, I'll think something along the lines of "great, now you can be happy just like all the other nerds around you, so that you can get the 'approval' of some equally insignificant human being, build up a list of petty achievements, grow up, get a 'job' and lie to yourself, pretending that your job or your family is the 'role' you play in this world, when in fact there is no role you play in this universe because the universe is entirely indifferent to you". I'm extremely 'depressed' or disillusioned with the world. And I hate most of all when people say "live life to the fullest" or "just hold on and keep working hard" because their stupid freaking minds don't realize that they're stupid words embody and emphasize the pointlessless of the world, making me feel even worse! I would kill myself, but thats nearly as pointless as living! No action is preferable to any other! How do I be happy!!!

even when i'm busy and in middle of something, sometimes i get flash backs of old days specially good moments, i almost can smell it, every single detail, amazing how memory works. but the weird thing is that its not even relevant to what i'm thinking of or what i'm doing!

does that happens to you? how often? why?

There's one thing I don't get. As we all know, the Bible is full of misogyny.

Some people say that the reason for women being discriminated in religion and in today's life is the fact that they were the ones who started the sin so they were basically the origin of the sin. But if God decided to punish women for Eva's actions only after Eva sinned, then why does God (who existed before Eva and Adam even came into the picture) has always been called a He? My point is that the fact that God fulfills the role of a male entity (even if He only does it with His name) goes to show that this discrimination against women has always existed and has no reason. If God would have given equal rights to both sexes and would have been truly fair as the Bible says, then He wouldn't have been called a He, He would have been a combination of both sexes. The appellative leaves a lot of room for interpretation.
