I've lied and cheated my whole life, and never been caught. But it's began to make me feel like everyone is doing to me what I do to them. It's a lesson I'd rather not learn, condidering my job is mainly to lie my *** off to people.. what can I do to restore my trust in others, without breaking my chain of deciet.

There's an old saying, "If you want to have a friend, you must first be a friend". Doesn't sound like your job is doing you any good, and if it is your mindset that you spend all day lying to people, then you see yourself in others, you spend all day being that way, so you expect the same from others, and you are probably gravitating to others with the same qualities you have. You won't find trust in others if you continue on the path you are on, how can someone who is untrustworthy expect to attract people who are? For that matter, how can someone who is untrustworthy expect others to trust them? You want others to be honest with you, while you continue to con and decieve them? Doesn't sound very fair to me, if you want others to treat you in trust and fairness, then cultivate the qualities you want people around you to have, sounds like you want them to offer you something you wouldn't offer yourself. If you like it or not, the universe is handing you a lesson you don't want to learn, and giving you a good look at yourself and how you treat others, and a lifetime of behaving that way is starting to leave a mark on you.

Unfortunately if you want to change the way you feel about people you have to look to yourself first. It may be okay to lie at work depending of course on what you are lying about. Just do not take it home to your personal life. Make sure you are truthful at home, in relationships, with family and most importantly to yourself. Then look to yourself to change the way you feel about what others say and do to you. It is a gradual process. That can take years to master

I'm afraid that is probably not possible. If your job is to lie, you must be mistrustfull that others are not lying back. The best thing to do is to accept that sometimes we all have to lie or do so for our own purposes. Still, you should trust others if you have no reason not to.
