I have seen many questions on these. I gather it's a promise to propose at a future date. How many more excuses for relationship jewelry do we need?

I'm waiting for someone to come out with a pre-promise ring, in which someone vaguely indicates that he will promise to propose.

I sometimes lend a helping hand to my dad in his business whenever I have free time. One day whilst helping my dad, something happened which left me somewhat embarassed. After serving a customer, the customer said in low but audible tone ' say thank you. ' You are probably wondering why I did'nt express gratitude to the customer. My dad had already expressed his gratitude to the customer, thus I saw it unnecessary to thank the customer. I can't seem to be putting this incident behind me. I feel embarassed whenever I reflect on this incident. Please advise. Don't hesitate to be as honest as possible.

Why do people ask this question on Y!A???

It's so silly. Do they honestly expect an answer?

Also they ask how can I do it painlessly? They are trying to end their lives...

I'm not hasseling people who are depressed and suicidal. I've been through both in my life.

I don't think suicide is an answer though.

Mental health effects everyone in someway so why are we not doing more about it??? Why are we so ashamed of it??

This is a serious question for any woman who can be honest with me:

Let's say you were given a magic lamp, and after giving it a good rub, Sambini the genie came out and gave you the oppurtunity to grant the following wish:

That women would finally make the exact same amount as men, and all gender relations would be placed on a level of equality. However, in exchange for this to occur, the entire history of the women's suffrage and rights movements would be erased. no feminist movement, no women's studies on Yahoo! Answers, it would be as if gender equality just happened spontaneously without any traceable cause.

(here's the question)
would you grant that wish, or would you rather continue to struggle for the remaining gender inequality and get to keep the record of history that follows behind it?

Please answer honestly, this isn't a joke nor is it a troll question.

I meant to know that why people hide their true self and show a false face to gain undue advantage. Due to this, there is confusion everywhere and people who want to be true to themselves and others are viewed with suspicion. Now situation has aggravated as a thick layer of falsehood has been put on most the peoples face and people are confused as to what stuff they are made of.

My husband is starting to get into the habit of coming home late from work! The last time (before tonight) he was 2 hr late! I questioned him and he said "Man I was filling gas!", Then i said for 2 hr, then i added next time im late i will say "i was filling gas"!
He said i was driving around for 2 hr to find gas!

No no dont think this he is not a cheater! He was with some friends partly and then he put some gas in his car! I always nagg him about he spends more time with his friends then with me! This is probably why he said "filling gas". Well 2night he came home late and went to sleep. I want do so reverse psychology on him! any suggestions?

P.S. he dosent love me at me!

I've known this girl for about 8 years, so it's hard for me to just cut her out of my life as some people suggest because although she has a bad side to her I also know her for her good side, so I would not want to lose her as a friend. The problem is she is one of those people who is always acting like a victim and somehow attracts drama and misfortune into her life. I read that those people usually spread that type of bad luck to their friends, and I definitely don't need any of that drama in my life. She is always pessimistic and seems to get some sort of kick out of self loathing and talking about how bad she has it. I don't understand this girl - I try to get her to be more optimistic and she's telling me that I'm just sugar coating reality. Even though some of her problems come from an unhealthy relationship she chooses to stay with the person and continue to whine about how her life sucks.
