Do you think that you have the right to kill your child after he or she is born just because they came out of your womb and you've decided they're an inconvenience to your lifestyle, or whatever else your excuse for taking an innocent human being's life is? What age do your children have to be before they're too far along in life to murder?

Biz - So I'm a troll just because I'm not one of those wishy-washy politically correct Christians who stands up for the mothers instead of the babies that they're murdering? I refuse to call killing a defenseless human being at any stage of life anything but murder. If you don't want the responsibility of a child then you and your husband, boyfriend, casual aquaintance, total stranger, or whoever you're having sex with need to keep your legs shut. Yes, that's right, I said BOTH of you. I do realize that the man has an equal part of the responsibility, but the responsibility isn't all his either.

Asheligh R - correction, 1st century not 12th.

The fact that a person must rely on someone/something else for the continuance of their life does not mean that life does not exist. Whether it be a hospital-owned ventilator or a woman-owned womb.

How about having sex "only" with your husband/wife when you are able to care for resulting children OR simply accepting the responsibility that comes with your choice?

Why not considering the possibility that that would prevent facing this dilemma in the vast majority of cases?

Why not consider accepting personal responsibility for our choices (including mistakes) and learning a lesson from them?

people who say professional lifers do no longer say this are incorrect or mendacity. every day in this website that's being mentioned. I have not have been given any concept why they're attempting to cover that up. they call professional-decision human beings professional-abortion. I even have seen it persistently. i'm professional-existence, yet I comprehend what a terrible decision it may desire to be for many individuals of females who've had abortions. call me professional decision.... i do no longer care... I basically opt for existence.

I think abortion is wrong. I agree with you on that point. Once there is a conception the fetus is a human being with a G-d given soul. The abortion people don't like the word abortion themselves. Abortion sounds like such a negative word. So they've invented another phrase "pro choice" or sometimes, "a woman's right to choose". Killing a human being by removing it from it's mother's womb is murder.

If a woman can't keep her legs closed than make sure that the shaft going in is sheathed. Otherwise have the baby and give it up for adoption to real parents after it is born, rather than murder it.

Being pro choice doesn't necessarily mean you are pro-abortion.

No, I don't believe you should use abortion as a means of retroactive birth control. If you're going to have sex you should be responsible enough to make every effort NOT to become pregnant in the first place.

However, if you totally take away a woman's right to choose, you are pushing us back to the days of coathangers and back alleys. There are certain circumstances where an abortion is medically necessary. A woman/girl should have the right to obtain a safe legal abortion.

Unless you are willing and able to care for every child that is born because an abortion could not be obtained (for whatever reason it was not available) you need to have a heart and think about the woman....who might have been raped, or made every effort to not become pregnant with her umpteenth child (yes, in that instance she should have had tubes tied).

Whether I personally believe in abortion or not, I don't think its my right (or anyone else's) to say a woman can't have an abortion. She has the right to choose.

Why oh why are people so bothered about this? Thousands of people on this planet are suffering, starving and abused, and your worrying over a bunch of undeveoped cells? The world is getting overpopulated, which is a major cause of suffering in countries where people are getting malnourished because there isn't enough food, water or medicine to go round. Whats worse, destroying a bunch of cells that won't suffer any pain or tourment or bring a child into the world who i sgoing to suffer? I think abortion is the lesser of the two evils in a lot of cases. It would be better if people just adopted and gave less fortunate children a second chance.

If people don't want babies, they should be more careful about using contraception, which would stamp out the need for abortion altogether.

one more thing - I bet all the pro-life people enjoy eating scrambled eggs on toast.. yeah, that's murder too, that's also taking a life before it's begun.. but oh no! no one cares about the animals which have just as much right to life as we do. I'm sick and tired of this attitude that humans are the sigle most important life from on this damn planet! We're the ones who are recking the place. goodbye.

I do believe you left out Pro-choice "MEN." Don't forget now, some Men do insist that their pregnant women have an abortion, so you see? It's not always the Woman who chooses the abortion option. Men do it too. Or are you not addressing THAT side of the Men's issues when it comes to "unwanted" pregnancies and murdering their own child(ren).

I've seen MANY Men enter an abortion clinic with their Women, holding their hand, comforting them and next thing you know it? ****poof! THEY ARE GONE! As fast as it was to abort their child. Coincidence? I think NOT!

If illegal back yard abortions were the only option may be many women would be dead. Are you actually aware of how back yard abortionists work - they use crochet hooks, knitting needles, wire and often women are left infertile or bleeding to death. And further its not about men and women having sex and then a baby being concieved its about women who have been raped, 13 year olds being coherced by older sick men taking advantage of them, and incest. You obviously have a very limited view of the world. Also abortion under 6 weeks or 12 weeks is fare more appropriate then abortion 6 months onwards - I condemn that, I have no issues with people making responsible choices for the family rather then being forced to bring an unwanted baby into the world. there are enough unwanted and abused children in this world. And the way you are posing this question indicates that you are baiting people on this forrum for your own sick amusement - there was another person like you on this forrum and I reported them - getting their jollies by baiting people and shocking them. And I agree with Morris M what are you doing about your concerns appart from baiting people on this forrum. How much money do you donate to children's fund - much? any?

Edit bto Mono: You are SOOOO boring.

TROLL. What is with you people?

For the record, I am a pro-choicer who has never and will never have an abortion. The issue is simple - right or wrong, I do not have the choice to legistlate what is going on inside another person's body. Therefore, I must support a woman's right to choose, and hope that whenever possible, I can encourage adoption over abortion.
